Not that worried about gas prices. I don't pay attention anymore, and I've found it is much less stressful.

I just want to see what would happen.

Now how bout that Bio Diesel stuff? Is that for specific cars/trucks as well or can you run it in any diesel? Anyone seen that?

What's flex fuel? Alcohol or something?

E85...Ethanol 85%, 15% petroleum.

I just wrote a paper on this stuff and how much I support it's production :D

Made from corn, wheat and other natural ingredients. It's good stuff! Your Pathy would need different sensor's for A/F ratios, etc...but the stuff DOES run at 96 Octane on average, no more paying for "premium."

Anyhoo, someone try it!!!

One more thing, did anyone know that the Armada's and Titan's are certified Flex Fuel Vehicles (FFV's) Wonder why Nissan isn't advertising this??

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm,

I wonder if anyone makes the sensors to convert it. Is it that simple you think? I'd be interested in doing it for the simple fact that it supports our Farmers. This has been around and available for at least a decade now, and it is a damn shame that it is just now making a presence.

Unfortunately, the answer to that question is no, at least not for now. I got this from the website I used as one of my sources in my argument for the paper I just wrote. It's a pretty good read, and the website is even better if your interested in learning.

YUP

I honestly don't complain about gas very often. When my friends complain I just shrug...usually. It gets nowhere to complain, and I need gas. I can't drill it or refine so I'll just have to pay for it.

BUT

When gas prices keep climbing and their profits keep climbing I have to wonder. Are prices rising because we're running short on oil or because the oil companies are turning huge profits. Hmmmmmmmmmmm take a freaking guess. The government is proposing new taxes on the oil companies. How bout just setting some limitations as to how much they can actually gouge us? If they tax em they will just raise prises more to recoup the loss.

Whatever, I need gas, I like driving my truck with crappy mileage so I'll just have to shut my mouth. If I lived anywhere else I'd have to drive a smart car because gas is so damn expensive so here in America it's not even worth complaining.

But if I ever meet an oil exec, and it is possible in my line of work, I will punch him in the neck and piss in his nostrils. Then I'll steal his wife and wine and dine her on his credit card, topping the night off in a jacuzzi filled with crude oil once again courtesy of that rat bastards credit card.

bio can be run in any diesel car or truck. many people are brewing the stuff nowadays. my next vehicle will be a diesel for sure.

I was thinking the same thing too deisel for sure. But unless you actually brew your bio-deisel your still going to be gouged up the rear. Today I say deisel at $3.31/gallon that is ridiculous!!!. Gas was only at 2.98!!! what gives? I thought deisel was less refined than gasoline? And I support the effort to piss on mobil execs or any oil industry execs for that matter. I now have to commute 120 miles a day for work and it sucks. I am driving my wifes honda accord which is good on gas but still I am having to put like 40 bucks in every 3-4 days. Besides I was hoping to sell the accord and get another pathfinder... life really sucks sometimes. I have noticed our here there are alot of big v-8 trucks for sale relatively cheap.
