  1. Well new general grabbers are out, the first thing i thought was "wow they look good" (well, other than the red lettering) then i saw the prices... man my size (265 75 16) used to be $120 now with the new style its $210 !!! MORE THAN BFG!!! What are they, crazy??? Your opinions?
  2. hmm i have stock length KYB on old man emu springs and they havent blown yet... maybe i dont need a longer rear shock?
  3. AC ( www.4x4parts.com ) sells Rancho rear shocks for stock height, as well as a set that says its intended for use with lift... Do you guys know if these lift shocks have longer extended length than stock?? Also, your opinions on 5000 vs 9000 ?
  4. love the signature pic !!

  5. rumor has it that OME struts are made by Monroe (not bad) and painted yellow I had some black monroes for just a weekend (shop ordered KYB's, disassembled my blown struts, and parts guy delivered monroes at 5pm on friday, then turned off his phone) and they felt fine. But i went back on Monday and got switched out for the KYB's. factory shocks are KYB so i figure it's the best??
  6. DamnInfinQX4, where did you get those?? and theres no way those are OME coils... you gotta be running spacers, right??
  7. well the lifted 4door i posted is an automatic so that eliminates that.... dang i liked the lifted one too... but i refuse to get another auto!! Thanks for all your input guys... looks like i have a real tough choice to make!!
  8. dayumm... the primered one is a 1990 2dr MPFI !! but he did all this ricer crap to it (roller paint job) and wont tell me why
  9. i feel like a WD21 could use the procomps more than the Q !
  10. ps do they all have 3.0's or do the newer ones (94, 95) have 3.3?
  11. oops i meant 3.0 also, i want a 5 speed (its the autos that get smoked, right)? and yeah im keeping the QX4, im just sick of wheeling it and having to drive it to work with camping gear in it the next day. I might even put the Q's Pro-comp wheels on the WD21 and vice versa.... $1600 of wheels on a $1800 rig would be cool, no?? Thanks
  12. Well i'm in the market for a WD21 and need NPORA's input. I always loved the 2 doors, but didn't know until recently that the 2drs stopped production in 1990. I would like the peace of mind knowing that a 95 is 5 years newer and has the EFI 3.3 (by the way, how reliable is the TBI 3.3? i assume that carb lookin thing in 1989 is TBI?) What do yall think of these? This ones $2k and has a lift with JGC coils in rear and rouch country UCA's, spicer ball joints, calmini idler arm brace, and some other stuff on it this ones also $2k but stock, supposedly has timing belt done but the guy can't spell and didnt give me the details i asked for in an email, and for some reason he decided to paint it with a roller this ones asking $1800, 2 door (but i dont like red, i wanted gray or black) and has good tread BFG's on it
  13. PS i wonder how he opens the rear doors
  14. a tree fell on it + no insurance = surf pathfinder
  15. ah i see. Wish i had a 3.5 so i could do the same. With the 3.3L, i can only floor it against garbage trucks and buses, otherwise its a guaranteed loss. Im willing to bet that the 99 Pathfinder / QX4 was the slowest SUV sold (in north america) that year.
  16. PS its like changing the timing belt and not changing the water pump while youre in there. It's just dumb not to.
  17. for the front, i would DEFINITELY replace the strut since you're gonna have it off. There's no better time to replace it. The question is not "Will it blow" but it is "WHEN will it blow" and when it does, you will have several labor-intensive hrs of work to do that could have been prevented with some maintenance! For the rear, id leave the stock shocks since you can install the springs without touching the shocks and vice versa
  18. Dude why would you ever race an F150? That's like the special olympics... even if you win, you're still retarded!! (no offense meant by this quote)
  19. what are you doing in UAE?
  20. nice, dude! How does it drive? Does it rub if you hit a dip going fast?
  21. Damn - more old schoolers showing up!!! Whats up Dankman! thanks for the K&N part number. Except the Jim wolf one is open ended - does the K&N have an open end or closed end? vs
  22. Hehe i dunno if anyones knowledge surpasses yours, but I know how you feel when the same questions & answers keep coming back up year after year! I did notice a snappier throttle response but i can't really say i felt any power gains like on the freeway. but then again, i've got the weak 3.3L with 31.5" tires so thinking about power on the freeway is a joke in itself. The good part about the filter is that it's washable and re-usable - combined with the small MPG increase, a intake like this essentially pays itself off within a few years. It's smart to buy one of these if you're in it for the long run. I don't know where that hose goes to. I tried to follow it but it disappears under the intake manifold. I think it *might* have to do with cruise control but i could't really tell ya. But yeah the JWT has a nipple for that hose. If you look at my second picture, you can see a small hole on the right side of the venturi.
