It wasnt all that free to move, it was a lot of work to shove them to the ends... We never found any screws or the like to loosen. Theyre off now, and wont be back on as long as I have it...

Mine didnt have any screws to unscrew, or even what looks to be dials on them... I had to pull them off the rack by pulling them down the rails, and off then ends.

basically yes... it couldnt hurt to do them now if you dont know when they were last done... I typically do mine once a year, but that's b/c I am in a lot of water & mud...

That damn dust cap was the hardest part -- I am so glad I dont have to deal with that thing anymore!

Thats the one I was refering to -- but to just swap out the hubs - you dont need that...

the only way I would think you would need a special tool, is if they were repacking your bearings also for that price, even then, you can get away without the tool...

heh, how much does that shiny new fender stick out compared to the rest of the abused paint? I'm suprised how the TJM gave like that... I hope to hell mine would fair better.

I would think so, just dont use the caps in the front - thats what I do with the American Racing 767's.

no need to remove anything once their installed, as long as your center cap has a hole so you can access the dials...
