aaweee quit showing off your ass!
  2. lmfao@peter... Oh, and as for the R51's... I wouldn't mind having one for onroad, but I cant see wheeling it. I'm sure it has capabilities, the thing that gets me is the size... My pathy feels like a friggin boat offroad sometimes, It's one thing I do envy of the Jeeps. I cant imagine wheeling something even bigger than mine.
  3. I call bullsh!t. I wheel with a lot of trucks that have bigger, beefier tires, more clearance, and in some cases more toys (lockers) and I keep up, and often do better then the rigs that should kick my ass offroad. Time and time again I have proved to the guys who drive the Xterras, Jeeps and other rigs that my little caR50 cant be counted out. I don't disagree that it has it's drawbacks... No one has SAS'ed an R50, and I don't see one happening anytime soon, if ever. My truck only has 31" tires, with 2" of lift - I could fit 32's, and possibly wedge some 33's if I don't mind altering some metal. And that's all I can do... it does suck. My little lowrider. But she kicks ass in mud, and crawls rocks with the rest of em. I know I have my limitations... I can't go play with the Jeeps in 38" tires... (oh boo hoo... ) I dunno, is it a guy thing, is my truck, and my tire size supposed to be an extension of my peter? Granted, I haven't wheeled with you, or in the same places you go. So I really don't know for sure if I could keep up to you and your wheeling buddies... but you haven't wheeled with me and my grocery getter, so I guess I don't have a chance to prove you wrong either.
  4. Happy 2008. Congrats on surviving another NYE.
  5. YOU SHUT YOUR DIRTY MOUTH!! That is all. You're all a bunch of poo heads. You hurt my heart, and I refuse to call you friends anymore until you come wheeling with me. I'll bring the potato chips and pop! Oh!! And maybe a soccer ball we can kick around after lunch!!! Asshats. *takes her R50 to the mall to buy V6 a hat*
  6. Yeah, sadly the newest pathy's dont do it for me... I have a while before I have to worry, but I'll likely be looking for a 2004 pathy if I have to replace mine (simply b/c I can still use all the mods I have now), or a Fronty, or an X.
  7. Very cool, they have nice stuff. I had my sliders made (couple friends built them), but used their "look" to create them.
  8. Yeah, we have that plate, it's on the firewall, pass side.
  9. Longest trip in the pathy was from Toronto, down to Tremont, PA to go wheeling. Only issue I had was day 3 of offroading, I broke a shockmount... I was lucky it didnt let go on the highway.
  10. Hi there, there's not really any difference between the floor & dash mounted 4x4 "switch" They both do the same thing, and I haven't heard any issues with either version. A lot of people prefer the floor mounted shifter, as it doesn't "feel" right relying on an electronic switch to do the job. The only difference I can think of between the two, is I believe the dash mount switch on some of the newer trucks have an "auto" mode. I don't know too much about that, maybe someone else can chime in here.... The R50 doesn't come with any diff lockers (not stock anyway) but many come with a limited slip diff in the back, which is pretty strong. Check for an orange sticker on the back of the diff.... As for capabilities... check out the photos on my website (click on the image) or look up vengeful, or XPLORX4's member pages, and check the links to their websites. We all put our pathys through a lot more than drive thrus and mall parking lots! Good luck with your search, and welcome to the board.
  11. Your blower motor resistor is gonzo... It's a pretty simple repair, it's behind the glove box. It's a $30 part brand new.
