  1. Hey there, check this thread: http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...t=0&start=0 It's likely her lower control arm bushings... mine does the same. Is it the heater or the fan that's gone on hers?

  3. Xterra-y! What are your plans for it?
  4. Fast Only Rolling Downhill Fawked On Race Day
  5. Have you looked at the Xterra's?
  6. Neat... will be interesting to see how long it holds up.
  7. What CB do you have, how big is it?? CB clamped to your rack is prob the best bet... I used to have the cable from mine running to the back, and out of the top of the hatch... that didnt work too bad, although the odd time, (not often) it would cause the hatch to leak a bit... I guess if the weather stripping/moulding didnt seal well around the wire.
  8. yup... was just thinking the same! If Jim comes back, he can unlock it.
  9. Holy crap Mookie, that is scary. I have to ask though, how fast was the driver going?
  10. Your struts will top out when going over bumps like potholes or speed bumps... just take it slowly, and they'll be okay. Mine were pretty chatty for quite a while after I got the lift, now that it's settled (or I've been retrained on how to approach speed bumps) I don't hear them very often.
  11. We were hiding from you, but you're too good at this game... our hiding spot failed us.
  12. Yup me too, our club is mostly Xterra's up here... and they all know me, yet I get called a bitch for the things I can do in my truck!
  13. No, I call that fun! To me, skill is picking out the line you don't have to ram into for 15 mins to get thru. Like I said, that is fun. In August we have an event called Camp NL. There are rigs of all sizes, shapes and brands. Typically the trail leaders are in very well built Jeeps with big meaty tires on em. Every year I have been, I sign up for my trails, and get in line with the rest of my group run. The trail leader takes 'attendance' makes sure we're all there, and checks out our trucks. Typically, they come to mine, and there is some concern whether I will be able to handle the trail... I will then be put inline between rigs that are well built up, they're planning ahead for when this asshat in the grocery getter, with weenie 31" AT's gets stuck, and stuck, and stuck... Every year I prove them wrong, with much pleasure.
