  1. Pictures never do justice... but I kept up to Mookie's SAS'ed pathy in my lowrider up this climb last year. An Xterra in the group with lift & bigger tires had issues and had to back down. The next day a bunch of Jeepers in done up rigs were pissed off to hear some chick in an R50 on 31's made it up. Here's Simon's Old Red up the hill @ an earlier run:
  2. smashy pathy makes pezzy cry
  3. You did mine too, driver's side.
  4. PDCCD has you covered... 4x4parts.com, and BlackPanther... unfortunately Runnerman who makes the BP skids isnt around the boards all to often these days. PS. Put away the ALL CAPS, and quit screaming at us.
  5. Nissan: Now In Some Sh*tty Automobile Nightmare Nissan: Nasty Import Sucks Savings Away to Nippon Google... not very creative I gotta say.
  6. No name calling in the sandbox please.
  7. Maybe you should remind the tool that trucks aren't supposed to go on their sides, and suggest some driving lessons.
  8. Dont suppose you have a better pic? I have no idea what you're pointing at.
  9. That's a pretty good summary. I have a 99.5 pathy and love it... My ex used to have an X, and it was a great rig too. I think more than anything, it's your personal preference. Take a few of each out for a test drive.
  10. Pretty much the center, as fueler guessed... right where the steering rack mounts... I had no idea I had done anything, but noticed the truck was pulling left hard while the steering wheel was pointing right. I can only guess I dropped the truck on a nice pointy rock right at that point, and it gave. Needless to say I ordered skidplates after replacing that bad boy... (imagine that plastic splash guard didnt save the day!!?!?) I've beaten the hell out of the truck since with no further issues. Looking forward to seeing the build trailboss... Mind if I ask what your estimated budget is for this project?
  11. *checks paycheque* Nope, doesnt say from Nissan Canada on it. I don't know that for sure, but it is what I have been lead to believe. I assume your Dad doesn't have one?
  12. Check Canadian Tire for SPORTRACK. It's the same rack.
  13. I understand it's standard in Canada, and optional in the states, eh.
  14. Yes, they can be repacked... it's not a hard job, just a messy one... I've done it a few times on my truck. Not sure if there are any how to's online/on the board... We just replaced the DS bearings on mine, as they were shot, and yes, they were grinding & making a ruckus.
  15. I would have a looksie at the maintenance schedule from Nissan, and make sure you take care of everything that will be due when your trip is over -- now. check out this site for some more ideas: http://www.expeditionportal.com/
  16. My relays are under the hood, I've run the wires to the switches on the dash thru the clutch hole (I have an auto) in the firewall. I have the wires to the lights running up the a-arm, just under the rubber along the windshield.
  17. You don't have to have the truck in that much water to hydrolock it... I've been in deep enough... if I got stuck I woulda been toast... I also know someone who's hydrolocked their truck blasting thru a decent puddle (by no means a water crossing) but the water splashed up at the perfect angle, and he was done. Our airboxes/intake are low...
  18. Wow, zing, you sure did get me... Read that thread, and you will see where I have been, I've been posting on that board for a while now. If you read the thread - all 13 pages, you will see that they have been saying it's coming soon for months, (if not years). Then nothing happens... It's only now they have finally come out with something.
