Year: 1999.5 XE lift : AC 2" coils Wheels : 16" AR 767's Tires : Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revos - R275/70R16 which were later replaced by LT 265/75R16 Notes: bought the AR 767's to ensure the tire would clear the strut mount. No issues with the R275/70R16 (31"), slight rubbing on tight turns (parking lots) with the 265/75R16 (32"). I should also note that when I got the lift and tires I still had the stock bumper, I had to trim a bit of the plastic in front of the front tires to stop the tire from rubbing. photo : This is the R275/70R16's The new ones a a bit taller, and narrower.

The pathy naturally is a bit higher in the back, than the front, and some people dont like it. I just have the 2" lift... not interested in the spacers myself.

tekazgtr1984 -- people have used the strut spacers with the 2" lift... typically they will add an inch to the front, to even out the tow truck look... any more than that is a lot of extra strain on your CV angles.

300 for a set eh? Well, better than what the dealer cost is... $275 for one. I havent checked out any scrappers... although, any I have ever noticed, seems to have the fender I need smashed up.

They are?? Where... as I need one. It has the cancer. Yup, the WD21's have the same issue... moisture, dirt, god know what gets caught in them, and has a nice little rust party when no one's looking. Best bet is to do away with the flares.

My ex ordered the Xterra one from SLR, and compared it to my truck, and it wasnt going to work. (Although, I wasn't there when they looked at it, so I don't know what the issue was.)

I think you're over thinking it... I had the lift without the warn hubs for 1 year, with no problems. Since then I have gotten the hubs, and only had one CV boot go, and that was after having the lift for 3 years. I know people who have gone w/o the hubs for a few years without CV issues... if I were you, I would wait until the issue comes up. Besides, if you're taking it off road, you could ram a stick up into the CV boot a week after you swap it out... As for the hubs, I typically leave the hubs locked for weeks at a time in the winter... if there is a chance that there will be snow, I lock them, then I am ready to go. I typically forget to unlock them right away... so they stay locked for a while. You could by rights leave them locked all winter, and do no harm... it would be like leaving the truck stock. That said, you'd only see the benefits of the manual hubs in the remaining months of the year.

Wow, that's weird... I know some of the newer R50 pathys have the ability to roll down the windows via the key fob... maybe when you armed the truck, you accidentally hit the correct buttons to do this??? Welcome to NPORA!
