  1. Fixed that. My truck is a pig in the winter months too.
  2. Please don't post duplicate posts in more than one forum. I am going to close this tread... please see here for the other thread. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=25387&pid=466648&st=0entry466648
  3. I believe the rotten egg smell is typically caused by a bad catalytic converter.
  4. It's not a common upgrade for the R50's like it is the WD21's. Congrats on the R50! oOo and a 99.5 to boot, nice!
  5. Check the sticker in your driver's door jam. Pretty sure it's listed there. I would guess your truck is post Feb 99. I have a 99.5, and I believe it was built Feb 2000. Welcome to NPORA!
  6. Jim, I hid your last post... Red will be able to read it, but I didn't figure your phone # should be up for all to see.
  7. I dunno, like B said, it could be good advertising to new members, picking parts for their living pathfinders. That said, 20 years from now, (or so... I plan to keep it forever!) if someone finds half my pathfinder in a junk yard, I dont want to see pics. That would be the saddest thing ever.
  8. I've had a couple PM's like this lately... we had issues with the old software with this, and it seems the issues followed us. The only advice I have been able to offer is to make sure you have the right file types & size... but I understand even with these set up correctly, it's not working.
  9. lol@you're regular. Fiber FTW!!

    Ouchies

That is weird! What do they do to help you heal?
  11. I'd defiantly have your mechanic look at that noise with the transmission... The rust window mouldings is common, happens on all year pathfinders... I had mine replaced (had it thrown in when I had the truck in for repairs after I played smash up derby with a civic)... That was 5 years ago, and it's already starting again. I think they make those things with a hint of rust. Have a look in the FAQs/Sticky threads for other common R50 issues. I hope you find one right for you!
  12. Some pathfinders came with 31's stock... your tranny should be fine. You may experience some minor clearance issues which I believe can be easily remedied... I'll let a WD21 owner help you with that.
  13. Double post: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=25098&pid=459623&st=0entry459623 Please refrain from posting duplicate threads in different sections. Thank you.
  14. I liked the washer fluid, I used it for a while. Never got really good results with the regular stuff.
  15. Nice, those colour rims look nice on your pathy
  16. When I researched my lift, I found most people ran the KYB struts. The rear shocks were split between the ranchos & bilstiens... I chose the bilstiens based on some recommendations that they last longer than the ranchos. Have no issues with my choices. I too would question why tires & wheels that fit now, wouldnt fit after a lift!?? As for the Warn Hubs, I ran with my lift for a year before I got the hubs, sans issues... I wouldnt worry too much about this mod - add it to your to do list when your budget has room. If you're interested in upgrading your tires/wheels (or when you are going ahead with that) try joining a local Nissan or offroad board. I've picked up used AT's from other board members in the past for a good discount, from people selling to upgrade to MT's.
  17. 1. Sunroof - I would try lubing the tracks, and any other mechanisms you can get to. 2. There are a couple places stuff could hide, under the back cargo area floor, there is also a side compartment in the back passenger's side, or try under the back seats - where the jack lives. 3. Glass opens with the key, one way opens the main hatch, the other way will open the glass. 4. ... 5. As you suggested - could be your tires, I am sure a few others will chime in with other ideas.
  18. Oh I agree, but that pic you posted, would scare the crap out of me. This crossing was enough for me: That said, I have seen someone hydrolock a truck on a fire road, because the blew through a puddle like a maniac.
  19. *shakes head at nige* I know some people on the aussie board installed the snorkel, with some difficulties. I also believe Go Pathy Go picked one up, and later regretted the purchase. It was a royal PITA to install.
