  7. Not for a while... just bought $600 worth of the AT REVO tires...
  8. Well sorry for the late reply here been quite busy with school and such...Overall lift from the springs is 4 inches plus or minus half inch...depending on weight load... here are a few pix with the new springs...will start a post in the pix area of my truck soon today.
  9. Got my truck back in once peice again...the springs are great....I got about 4.25" form where it was....thats the 2.5" back to stock hight and about 2" of lift with the springs... the ride is great not too stiff like a lot of people would of thought of...just a lil bouncy in the rear....need new shocks i the rear...what do you think rancho or bilisteins? and part numbers if you know them. Got GR-2 struts, 30x9.50 AT REVO tires on stock rims, still not a major off roader until i get some more funds to fix a few other things...
  10. well truck is at a mechanics....measurements from the bottom of the hitch is 14.75 inches...with front at tow hooks at about 15 inches....each wheel well is arount 32 inches with .5 inch diffrence plus or minus....
  11. Well mates i should have the springs soon....will get you measurements of it now ans then after to see how the diffrence is...will let you guys kno...
  12. is the CEL ceck engine light...on.. what re the codes?
  13. Same here..will take measurements of height before and after, handleing, and towing....I also keep about 250 lbs of equipment and emergency gear in the rear of my truck...will be building a light weight steel cubby for my stuff here soon too...so anther project on the boards...
  14. Well I get paid this tueday...going to buy the Ironman springs and hopefully have them installed in roughly 2 to 3 weeks after another paycheck and some tips saved....will let you know
  15. I too am looking at Ironman springs. Hopefully I will be buying these with in the next 2 weeks or so...From what I have looked at Ironman has been around for since 1958 in AU and ARB-old man emu since about 1975...Both ironman and OME have worlwide sales and uses...the only ironman distribution i know of is up in NJ, through a company called www.camel4x4.com... I talked to the owner Eli at length about the Ironman springs for the R50's...they only have one set for front (up to 110lbs over stock) and rear (up to 440lbs over stock)...plenty of strength for later upgrades...
  16. yea they said max lift would be between 1 and 1.5 inches....which is what im looking for...not going for a full 2 inch lift here...just more of a cost effective load carrying cappability ect..... the price is the best i have seen
  17. In looking and talking to the guys at rocky road....they also suggested Ironman 4x4 springs... www.ironman4x4.com to which only has one company in the states that sell there products.... www.camel4x4.com Ironman only has one spring set for R50's... front spring can cadle stock to 110 lbs and rear to handle up to 440 lbs... and sell these in pairs for $120. Ironman has been around since 1953 in AU and has world wide sales... Has anyone delt with either of these companies?
  18. ok i read and re-read the pinned topic in the FAQ.....has nothing about part numbers wich was why i also asked on the forum like i did...what part number?? 922 923 921?? some sites say heavy some say meduim duty...what is what... i want med. duty in the front and heavy duty in the rear... thanx for ur time.
  19. Ok.....I am running stock alloy wheels with bridgestone at revos 30X9.5 R15 on stock suspension. I plan on buying OME springs...922 I beleave is the correct part? Or is there diffrent ones for front and rear ( 921 front, 922 rear)? Or is that just the diffrent weight capacities? Now i have read somehting about backspacing. Are the stock wheels and tire going to fit this application of springs or does spacers or new wheels need to be bought? Manual hubs are in the project and new cv if needed. Thanx for your time.
  20. no i dont know them...i need to find them and hit them up....im planning on doing a lift...i have saggy old original and gettin ome 922 springs...hope its not too much of a lift from what i have now...2 inch or so... but yea need to get some pathy guys form around here together...
  21. i plan on doing this and posting a how to..pix and costs.. give me a week or 2
  22. just curious where are you at in NC...should get together and have a pathy meet here in NC.
  23. Yea, dark pix it was taken around 01:30hrs NC time.... well i have hit 2 deer and the plastic is all bent to hell in places plus being deformed...Wanting to make it look newer again and get rid of the chrome parts. My FD does not allow roof (trust me I would...hehe) mounted RED lights or any lights that are used in a response to a scene only interior and grill lights. So I cant argue with them. Lights up top are in the works after I get my roof rack made.(no money right now)....I have had silverstar's in the truck and the blow out after a few months...there getting tierd of me returning the burnt out lights. I may just relay the head lights with larger gauge wires...
  24. Dont want to use HID kits....too much flare spots with out acutally buying the headlights made for them... heres what i have now. Anyone have anyplaces I can get replacement parts on the cheap?(bumper)
  25. I did see the post about the removal of front grill, haha stupid rice burners...lol .....Im not wanting to blind people. Was going to leave the stock bulb wattage just try to squeez a little more juice out of it. I travle some nice dark country back roads and need the extra lighting....Those mother effing deer are always out especially now its warmer.
