how about not to discourage new members we keep the initial fees at $10 like always and then have renewal fees? But also go the donation route.. so if anyone wants to kick down a bit more cash that's fully possible. I know this site has been a god send to me, and many others and although i am seriously not made of money i would be more than willing to throw down some extra cash for sure. maybe $5 a month from all us "regular" users? Doesn't sound like much but it sure adds up. What if we start a donation fund to get Mr Jim a new clutch? I paid $178 for mine new with the t/o bearing.. lemme see.. say.. there's about 20 regular users... divided by... makes it around ... $10 each.. i'd be willing to donate that to Mr Jim personally.. not NPORA on this occasion. His site has been a life saver :bow: I know what pezzy hit on is a soft subject as mr jim is the originator/owner of this site, but what if he were to at least give temporary control (to includ all passwords/access) to 88 for the time being on the understanding he is still large and in charge, but so much needed changes can be made.. like the removal of our little trojan friend, getting new members up and running...that way it would stay mr jims site, but for now we would be able to better secure the site and upgrade? I truly feel for me jim, i have been there (not divorce.. but hard times) and i hope he stays healthy through all of this, and i truly wish him the best. what do you think guys n gals? time to cowboy up here or what??? if it works the same as california (a quick call to your local DMV office will handle that).. your emissions test goes directly to the DMV computers.. which means wherever you smog yer pathy it automatically shows up... my pathy is registered to my brothers address because here i live in the corridor of car theft capitol of CA and insurance is more.... if/when you call the dmv just tell them you are gunna be outta town when the smog is due so can you smog it in the county yo will be staying...

the carrier only weighed 50lbs when i shipped mine... just the bare carrier... add maybe 40lbs for the additional stuff (spare tire)

you should have an illuminated panel there so obviously the bulb/fuse blew... search around for this subject on how to change them or look it up in your manual.. it should semi-explain in there.... (i on the other hand have nooo clue where the bulb resides or how to get to it.. obviously it resides behind the dash.. that's a given) sorry i can't be of more help! -study-

From step 2: Step 2: Pop the wheel nut. It is a 19mm or 3/4 socket (I used 3/4). it should not be real tight. After popping the nut off, go get yerself a lil puller. I am not 100% sure what metric size to use, but I kinda used standard bolts cuz basically I am not keeping the OEM wheel..in the end, using the std bolts didn't cause any harm.. they were 5/16th (Chevy guys.. you understand?).

splines are like notches.. have you ever seen a driveshaft out of a vehicle? ..umm.. ok. you have a round end mmK... then you cut grooves in it lengthways.....which in turn fits snugly into whatever that has grooves (kinda like a male/female thang) so it can not spin..umm.. i'm not doin a real good job of explaining am i? yes.. liefts, indexing can be done in the comfort of oyur own driveway with good instructions.. good tools... and lots of breaks for -alcohol- must have is a BFH .....................................and patience

i always change my oil every 3,000 miles ..i am very anal about my maint schedules :contract: i keep track of EVERYTHING i do in a word document on my puter. i changed the oil (which stank of gas) and not long after stank again.... then i did it about 2 weeks ago.. with thicker oil and some bars leak in the rad.. not so bad but yeah.. gas smell is there.. not as bad... but there. my pathy has 137,000 miles. i am losing internal coolant.. and when i let her sit idling there is a constant drip drip drip coming from the tail pipe.. warm , hot or cold.... my entire exhasut is less than 9 months old.. and i am feeling this is internal somewhere.. berfore the bars leak i swear i heard what sounded like the valves tapping.. now she is wuiet again. my fuel consumtion is something else.. driven slightly harder than usual.. instead of my usual 250-300 miles per tank i got 190 miles.... my gas mileage varies week to week... -thnkboutit-

get under the front of your pathy.. and you'll see all the rubber "bushings".. they are usually between 2 moving parts on your front suspension .. they look like black rubber washers.. look closely at them to see how they look: ie: split..cracked.. really dry/cracked lookin... bad bushings can cause squeaks.. also check to make sure yo have no metal moving parts rubbing each other.. you will see shiney metal for that one... check your shocks for wear/damage.. are they old? rubbing? start there n let us know how you get on u can do eeeet

one word for ya.... bushings. check ALL your bushings.. especially the shocks.. if you have polyurethane bushings anywhere.. they are habitual squeakers.
