  1. Heh @ Pezzy...you know I'm going to steal that bumper one of these days, right? I'd been looking for these headers for over 2 years, finally found them....just got lucky I guess.
  2. URE is a shortened version of the Uwharrie National Forest near Troy, NC. Every Fall, the Nissan Offroad Association of the Southeast (NOAS) has a run at URE, which I just posted about in the Trail Runs forum. Every Spring, we have a run at Coal Creek in Tennessee.
  3. There's no need to get on him about it. He's done the time, and hopefully learned his lesson...leave it at that. I'm sure he already knows how stupid he was, and wont do it again.

    You fail...go back one grade.
  5. It fell out of his pocked while he was rock climbing...duh! It was suspended for doing something dumb...we've all been there. No need to hassle him for it.
  6. Well...looks like I'm going to be getting headed as soon as I get these and get them cleaned up...
  7. I've got a Husky brand set of air tools...all of it seems to be fairly good quality (I'm sure nothing compared to Matco or Snap-On, but probably comparable to Craftsman at a lower cost). Got the whole compressor/air tools setup at Home Depot for ~$300. Came with, Impact Wrench, air ratchet, air hammer/chisel, 2 HLVP spray guns, air nozzle and a sander. Another option, would be to check a pawn shop for an IR or similar. I picked up a few other air tools at the local pawn shop for about $20-25 each, all brand new Ingersoll Rand.
  8. Nice how-to! Thanks for the contribution.
  9. No pic just yet, but I mounted a fire extinguisher in the cargo area, and a small power inverter in the glovebox. I'm going to be getting a bigger 2000W P.I. to mount in the rear and run off a direct connection to the battery.
  10. Ack! Looks like I've got some competition!
  11. No...Don't...THEY'RE MINE! You're not allowed to steal this, too, from me Pezzy. By the way, my ebay id is vwurf...so back off you snipers!
  12. This makes me a lot less nervous about doing mine. I've heard it is a chore and a half...but I've done just about everything that can be done on a car, except the timing belt, so we'll see how it goes. Going to start compiling the parts this week.
  13. Because there's only one space available there, and I've got 8 more things that need switches going in in the next couple weeks.
  14. Chillax man...he's got a life, too. You can't expect someone half-way around the world to just drop everything and get you a price on something.
  15. R50s are not equipped with a link/arm steering. We've got Rack & Pinion. When they balanced the wheels, did they use the adapter plate?
  16. Don't you mean Invision Power Board? VB is a different company... But yes...thank god for this format...makes it SO MUCH easier.
  17. What is your current gear ratio? To find out, simply look on the door jamb for the decal with all the tire information on it. You will find an axle code. HG46 means you have the H233b with the 4.6 gears. If it is different, just post up and someone will decipher it for you.
  18. Nissan head units are manufactured by Clarion. On the Bose units, the innards are different and the speakers and amplifiers are made by Bose.
  19. EVAP canisters are supposed to be filled with charcoal pellets. They are there to neutralize the gas fumes until they can be vented. I got my EVAP Canister from the dealer for only about $80.
  20. It's too bad Jed's not here for this...hehehe.
  21. The best looking Pathy ever, IMO, is MY 99. Though, i think stock R50s are absolutely mundane. My favorite stock Pathfinder is the 2-door WD21.
  22. What a waste of life. *(Not you, but pigboy. I bet GasPig guy is Clint.)
  23. That doesn't look that bad. Toss a receiver on there and it'll be pretty nice. Could be cleaned up a bit, but all in all, its not bad.
  24. I talked with Jim (owner of 4x4Connection) in May and they were completely out of TJM steel bumpers for Pathfinders and will not be getting any more in. Aluminum they can get, but I don't like the aluminum ones. They aren't as strong, they look dumb, and I wouldn't trust it with a winch.
