The only accurate way to tell how hot/cool your tranny or t-case is is to have a gauge. There should be a transmission temperature sensor already in place for your ATP light. You may be able to tap into that and wire up a gauge.

What kind of lights are they? Did you buy them new? There should be a wiring diagram included with them.

If you have access to a Dremel, you can cut a slot through the screw, and use a big slotted screwdriver instead of the phillips. That's worked for me in the past, and saves having to cut off the head and drill it out. Once you get the screw out, replace them both.

I do not believe there is a manual available. However, the 05 Pathfinders are about as Pathfinder as a Ridgeline is a truck. However, Nissan did go back to a Body On Frame construction, but ruined it with full independet suspension. If you're looking to buy a new 05 Nissan, look at the Xterra. It's as close to the Pathfinders of Yesteryear as you're going to get.

When was the timing belt last changed? That shouldn't have an effect on your idle, but at that mileage, if it hasnt been done, you need to do it ASAP.

How many miles does the truck have? Might be worth it to clean the wires in the MAF, too. See the pinned topics at the top of this forum for a how-to on that.

I would do the following, in order of cheapness. Clean the Throttle Body. Run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner through your tank. replace the fuel filter. Since you don't know the last time the fuel system was cleaned out, I'm going to presume that you haven't replaced the fuel filter in a while either. I would go ahead and do these things anyways, as they will certainly help with gas mileage a little. If none of that solves it, you may have a more serious issue. Could be the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV-AAC), throttle position sensor, cold start valve, or a number of other things that contribute to idle. Is the check engine like illuminated?

I called them and talked with their "Product Development" department. Probably just some random guy, and he said that at this point they have no immediate plans to produce more R50 bumpers, but, he also said that if we can get enough people on a list that they probably would, though he also said that he can't guarantee anything. And I told him that I was going to start up a petition and post it on the internet so everyone who wants one will be in one place. He didn't give me a number, but I'll bet if we get about 30-40 signatures, they'll make another run with enough begging. Haha.

If we get a bunch of signatures, I think they'll at least consider it. And having them consider it is a lot better than what's happening now. If they don't answer to the petition, I say we have everyone who signed it call them like 3x a day and harrass them until they give in! LOL.

KYB Struts generally run about $65-70 each. Not sure on the shocks. I've got the Rancho RS9000x on the rear of my Pathy and LOVE them. The adjustability is wonderful. Have you considered looking at the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks?

I generally carry a 5-gallon gas can with me for that very reason. I've actually gone well below the E and have the truck only take 17 gallons, and had what looked to be 1/8th tank left and run out of gas! Explain that one? :confused:

Nick, The fuel light is sporatic at best. In my truck sometimes it will come on when theres 6 gallons left in the tank, or sometimes when theres barely 1. Today, it came on, and when I filled up, it took 19.3 gallons. The last time it came on, the truck took 16.2.

It was concepted in 1985 for a 1986.5 release.

Did you notice any increase in brighness of the gauges? Mine aren't very bright. I think I'd like some red ones though. Easier on the eyes.
