The main reason I posted it here is because I want to see them set up on R50s specifically. I've seen literally 100s of OBA setups on WD21s, Xterras, Jeeps, Toyotas, etc, etc...but I've only seen one on an R50, and I just want to get some ideas.

Ok, so I'm starting to be in the market for an On-Board Air system. I'll probably be buying one around Christmas time or shortly thereafter. I just wanted to get a jump on the planning of it. What I want to see is how you mounted yours. I would like to see pictures of both CO2 and Compressor/tank setups if possible. Thanks in advance.

That is exactly why I am generally hesitant about ordering from them for the most part. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love what they've done for the Nissan Aftermarket, and I have a great respect for Jane and Mike, but their website and e-shop just doesn't seem to be up to snuff.

Since you're going custom, why not look at other bumpers out there for other vehicles? Why limit yourself? It's custom, the options are endless! Calmini Xterra Bumper Shrockworks Xterra Bumper And there are so many more. You ought to look around at some of the Toyota bumpers, too and see what you like and what you don't, and then CAD up a bumper for yourself.

I know that the spline counts are different. However, I think that is the only real difference. I don't see any reason why the LockRight won't work in the 33-spline H233b. Err, wait, this was about the Detroits, wasn't it?

If you can hold out till about Thanksgiving time, I've got a set of stock coils in my garage that only have 40,000 miles on them. They're in good shape, not worn out or anything. Just say the word and they're yours.

Depending on your state and the level of arseholeness of the cop, it varies. It can range from a Fix-It ticket (where if you go into the clerks office showing that you've updated the registration, they drop it), to a ticket and impounding of vehicle. I'd get it taken care of ASAFP.

Wow! All I have to say is WOW! I saw a 2mpg increase after cleaning my MAF! Simply amazing. My idle is smoother, accelleration response is a little quicker. I'm going to do this regularly now!

No...Strut towers are the big humps that you see in your engine bay. You want to replace the strut bearings and hardware.

DJ...hate to say it, but you are mistaken. There are several choices for struts, as well as shocks. If you've had VWs and BMWs in the past, especially a Mk4 GTI, you should know damn well what a strut is, as it has struts at all four corners. As far as options go, there is a company that is working on a 3" and a 6" lift kit for the R50s in the US, however, it is still in the prototype phase, and they have recently lost their test/prototyping vehicle, so progress at this point is halted. However, if and when they get a new test vehicle, it should be completed rather quickly. The Japanese lifts cost well over $3,000 + import fees and shipping...they aren't really an option. I run the AC lift on my truck, and have about 60,000 miles on it. I have not seen any problems with it, other than some premature CV boot wear from the increased driveline angles. I solved this very easily by installing the Warn hubs. As far as my experiences go with AC, the only problem I've ever had with them was when I ordered something, and it was backordered from the manufacturer. They don't update their website to reflect this information, and I ordered it not knowing. Then after a couple of weeks went by and I hadn't heard from them, I called to find out what was going on, and they told me that the parts I ordered were backordered from the manufacturer and they gave me an exact date that they would have them. I got it 3 days later. Their customer service may seem spotty at times, but you also have to remember that it is basically a 2-person show. They are intensely busy at all times, and sometimes don't have time to call or write an email to every customer telling them that their order is backordered. Patience is a virtue. But other than that one experience, I have never had a problem with their service, and have worked closely with Jane on sponsorships for events for both of my clubs.

The Transfer cases on these trucks are finnicky. If you pull it too fast, it'll grind. If you pull it too slow, it'll grind. Just one smooth motion, you should be fine.
