  1. Permatex Ultra Copper works for a while, but its not permanent. What kind of collector are you running? Flange and gasket? Best thing to do is get another gasket. They're the same price as a tube of Permatex.
  2. Lol yeah they sold them to all you Floridians!
  3. Try tightening the belts a bit first. Typically a bad bearing will squeal and grind all the time.
  4. Have you unplugged the alternator to see if the noise went away?
  5. Put it this way... if you don't know what you put in it before and it happens to be GL-5 (likely since GL-4 is so hard to find), its an absolute death sentence for it.
  6. My fully loaded '88 isn't wired for them, found that out when I broke my driver's side one. I have a heated mirror from a '93 on it now. But, its worked for heated seats and has an empty fuse slot for it...
  7. Its best to go get a proper one from the parts store for it and tap it in. If I was at home I'd send you one since I have quite a few laying around.
  8. After checking the fusable links and ruling those out, make sure the ignition switch is functioning properly. Turn to ON/ACC and check for voltage to and from the switch. I had a similar issue a few years ago.
  9. Probably mostly due to the 4.63s vs. 4.37s.
  10. Honestly man, clean up the English so we can understand better what you're trying to tell us. Help us help you. I'm not trying to be a dick but its kind of disrespectful to ask for help from others when all the effort we see from you is a garbled mess of words that are easily misunderstood.
  11. Freeze plugs are, well, self explanatory. They're there so when the water freezes and expands, the idea is that hopefully the pressure pops the plug instead of cracking the block.
  12. Self inflicted for using straight water when its going to freeze... bet you won't do that again!
  13. And with the 350Z transmission you'd need to make up a divorced transfer case set up unless you can bolt a rear Pathfinder housing onto it. If not, a custom cross member, three custom driveshafts, custom linkage, etc. Andthe shifter location on a Pathfinder and Z will more than likely be different plus the starters nah be on different sides of the bell housing. For a VG Pathfinder its not going to be easy nor effective since they're so gutless. A VQ might be doable but for all the work still not worth it.
  14. Bolt right in? Not in the slightest... the earliest 6-speed manual will be from a 350Z here in North America.
  15. Pennzoil also makes. GL-4, its called GM Synchromesh. Seems to be cheaper on average than Redline and easier to come by.
  16. I say go for it man. Quality bed liner is some seriously tough stuff and can easily handle trees and take a pretty good hit from rocks. I've used Rustoleum bed liner on the rockers before, they were crunched against rocks and it remodeled the panels but the bed liner stuck and the rock marks rubbed off.
  17. Is that a Supercharged Frontier or just the wheels?
  18. Wow man, $700 that's a steal! Good work!
  19. See, to me its a $500 max truck. Give it some love, and get it running good, sell it for a profit. If he thinks its worth its weight in gold he can kick rocks. The keywords are getting out of hand real fast and I wish CL would do something about it. No matter what you search anymore you get 3x the amount of garbage and unrelated bullsheit.
  20. That'll buff out, any clutch issue would be fixed when the engine is pulled.
  21. If I had it I'd paint it Desert Runner style and throw some pre-runner bumpers on it. He seems to have a hard time selling it, maybe it'll still be around come Christmas time.
  22. Wow, I forgot about that thing. It's been almost a year since it's popped up on Craigslist. No clue what that kit is but if I was home I'd buy it!
