Ok, ok, you won. I've searched in Babylon, Google Translate, two printed dictionaries and I'm still confused about what is to top out and to bottom out. So when you bottom out, the shocks or coils are fully compressed, and when you top out, they are fully extended... am I correct? Or, is it the opposite?

also, wouldn't they bottom out when compressed? or, I mean, won't the shocks became shot? Or the bump stops will be hitten before the shocks are bottom out?

Any idea of the minimun amount of lift I need in order to use them? Maybe it'l be better to sell them around here and buy the right PNs

I asked him to buy the 925500 'cause I plan to put longer coils and disconnect the rear swaybar, so the Path won't be stock for so long... as long as I find decent coils around here - JGC are not affordable, the only ones I found in a junkyard they asked $200 each, but maybe I know who fabs for stock Paths and maybe they can fab some for me, given the right specs. Or maybe I could find some from other truck that could give the amount of lift I want for a decent price... As everyone uses to do a 3" susp lift, what were the issues you have doing 4.5" ? I think I saw a post saying you reallocated the lower link.

Just received two rear Procomp shocks from the kit my brother-in-law bought to me, he sent the rear ones first... I emailed him asking 914518 for the front, and 925500 for the rear, passed all instructions... he told me he had some trouble to buy online, then called 4WheelParts.com and bought by phone. He told me the guy from 4WheelParts said that the numbers where right, everything was fine.... But what I received has a tag saying "929500" and in the shock's body is written "92950 21095"... I just forgot to ask him "please check the part number before sending to Brazil"... he cut the tags from the boxes and put it together with the shocks, but DID NOT CHECKED IT What can I do with these shocks???? They're the same as the 925500, but compressed: 17.32 polegadas extended: 29.83 polegadas travel: 12.51 polegadas

I've got a wrecked one in my garage and I'm thinking of building new supports for the bars, as it would be much easier to use it in the Path.... Things are becoming difficult in Brazil... a new law defined a series of rules for using brush guards, it needs certification, and more... unless it's stock, in this case I guess there won't be any issue - but even they are not sure yet what is allowed or not So I'm gonna build new supports, just like the stock ones...

When lifting the front with a torsion bar adjust the shocks don't need to be longer than stock, but in Trailmaster suspension lift I guess it will, cause it drops the front diff...

I bought a set of ProComps ES9000. The rear ones have just arrived , and the front + stabilizer are still in NY but I hope they will be here next month... Now I need a set of coil springs for the lift.

My brother-in-law is going to order a set of them for me on this weekend, and send them to me in Brazil. Do you know if longer shocks for the rear (for a 3" susp lift and disconnected rear sway bars) still apply for the package deal? Fernando

What about Pro Comp? Wouldn't the 324509 mensioned above be a little short if you use to disconnect the rear swaybar? I've searched the Pro Comp's catalog and found that 325500 is a little longer: Extended Length (in): 25.740 in. Collapsed Length (in): 15.490 in.

My wife was driving home and just after she passed a bus she said the steering got heavy and when she pressed the brakes it didn't work... :o She said she applied the hand brake and when she finally stopped the truck, she just turned it on again and everything worked fine! I don't know if she was just scared about any issue with the car (and because the bus was near, and our children were in the car) or the Path really turned off... well, I also don't know if she was really accelerating at that exact moment I did 10 miles yesterday and today, and everything seems fine... Any thoughts? :confused:
