Oh R50 masta? What about driveshaft length? Should that be a concern for 33's or 35's with the 2in lift coils and a 4in sfd?
-
This is why Canada is TEH FAILZ!
-
Hell man, if I can fit 33's on the 2in lift, you can fit 35's with 4in more lift than me Here are the pics I have of his flex. You can see the stock links. I mean hell maxstryker even put 38's on his r50 with a sfd and lift coils. When looking at tmorgans pics it looks like the rear bumper is being hit by the tire, since you have a tube bumper it may not be a problem. As far as the front an aftermarket or custom high clearance bumper should do the trick, or just trim up the stock one Look at where the link is atttached to the bracket looks stock This pic you can clearly see the stock link, look at the mount too all looks stock to me One more pics...just cuz its awesome Pic of max's on 38's

You should be fine. AFAIK tmorgan did not have a set of aftermarket links or driveshaft when he was running 35's on the SFD. You may want to message him and find out for sure though. When I look at the pics I have of his flex the links appear to be the same as the stock ones. You can still fit 35's you will probably have to trim a bit though
-
Who doesnt go up to 100mph? I raced a F150 on the highway for awhile hitting the limiter a few times....Nissan put the VQ in the pathy for a reason holmes
-
Tmorgan did indeed make custom links. I dont believe that he had a custom ds made though. Once you get the extended links you will need a new ds, but until that point you should be fine with the stock one. OR you could just get a spacer made.
-
Okay now you just need a drop panhard bracket, and to fab up something for the lsv spring. And then you're done!

Just click the link and watch, its not that hard. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=old+man+emu+pathfinder+suspension

-
I knida have the same thing. Like esp when turning into a parking space, or coming to a stop before turning onto a street. Kinda feels wierd and the rpm drops but I dunno whats doing it?
-
Yep get a metric set, 18mm is probably the biggest u will want to get in a set. Anything above that size you wont want to be using hand tools.

How Do You Know What Gearing Your Pathfinder Has?
01silvapathy replied to new4x4r's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
Imo change your r/p in your thrid members. If you want to do it cheaper than those new gears you can look around for some Xterra 4.9 gears. -

You've already ordered 35's there is NO turning back homebro -
I should throw on my sfd, clean her up sell her for 10k dont even have 95k on her and its an 01. And then buy a jeep
-
WTF IS THIS?? Infared Headphones and DVD thingy? I have an LE wheres mine
-
Yup, well if you plan on doing any wheeling, I would stick with what you got. The new pathy has irs- Independent Rear Suspension which is lame for wheeling but whatever. Atleast you have the option to throw a supercharger on that 4.0
-
No not all R50 mufflers are the same, the 3.3's have a smaller downtube, and they have more of an angle coming off, the R50 has a bigger like secondary muffler with a straight back pipe. Its hard to explain.
-
Its the top two farthest in. The hitch I got has 6 bolts each side. The 4 primary in the pics above are all in. The two upfront are not....they are alot smaller bolt also.
-
Dang dude, thats clean as hell! I'd say it would be worth it.
-
Just a fyi guys the hitch from the 98 fit pretty well. It was a PITA to get it up into place because of the VQ's larger muffler in back. But once it was up I got 5 bolts in on the passenger side and 4 on the driver. The other 2 on the drivers side are impossible to get to due to things being in the way. But for what im going to be mainly using this hitch for....recovery, and light towing it seems good enough.
