You really wont notice a difference without a swaybar. I have not run one in FOREVER. Sucks your stock tails leak, I think they look great smoked out.

THIS GUY lol I kid. Dude, you got some height out of that. Your old suspension musta been really sagged. Now take off those running boards, and mud flaps and it would be a clone of what mine was but in black. Did you leave your sway bar on or trash it? Those euro tails though

X2 on longer shocks, the extended length on my shocks is 36in. Flex is ultimately limited by shock length then length of the rear control arms Im 6'3 tires are 33's for refrence Video..pretty much full flex at 1:40-2:15 -
Not really...the strut spacers have seperate top and bottom flanges....so one set of holes could easily be enlarged if necessary....but then again there may not be enough space depends how big of a hole we are talking about here.

The 5spds also dont have the powervalve screws

Wish I had a 5spd, the extra 10hp, extra gear, and 4.6's would sure come in handy!

shocks on a 2" AC lift
01silvapathy replied to Phantom01Pathfinder's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
My shocks were way too long for my original 2in lift. They would top out constantly while wheeling. As seen in this pic there was maybe 3in of shock shaft exposed...now around 6-7in is exposed at ride height. Before -
And I think there was a recall on this, Nissan welded a "patch" on them to stop the crack...my truck has them I can post pics if anyone wants em.
-
May well just cut them off and weld in a straight pipe to a muffler then dump it. Thats what my plan is.

knowing the compessed and extended length has alot to do with a lift, it determines how much travel you will get. -

My shocks were too big for just the 2in lift and were topping out. And this topic has not exclusively been dealt with before. -

Somebodys gotta have some input here -
Im almost 100% sure its a ujoint issue. Tires were rotated front to back and it changed nothing, I have yet to drop the ds and check the joint but its on my list of things to do. From what I hear if its a roaring noise that most likely means its the pinion bearing cause when bearings go bad thats typically what they do.

Easiest way to get BFG A/Ts on my 2004 LE?
01silvapathy replied to dumuzie's topic in 96-2004 R50 Pathfinders
A 15in wheel wont clear the brakes, so thats out of the question. You can fit a 30in tire stock from what I have heard. If not go with a 2in lift and you can fit 31's without trimming. Camber alignment bolts will be needed when you lift. -

As soon as I get my extended rear links from rugged rocks and new coils out back with some wider rims 35's will be next. -

Well of course that bracket had to be made but what I was saying is that is appears to be using all existing mounting holes from the stock bracket.
-
From the pic he first posted it looks to me that the stock tie rod is still being used. Looks like there is a c clamp or ubolt type of clamp used to attach the stabilizer to the tie rod. It also looks as if all the kit is bolted to places that are already existing on the subframe. And yes the bump steer would def be something that I would not miss, and im starting my job training today so ill finally start having some income so id be on the list to get one if he makes them

There is a snap ring holding the cv inside the hub, it needs to be removed for the hub to slide off.
-
How would it work with the suspension travel? Even though its not alot of travel its still a bit.

Not exactly a fan of the paint

If one was that worried about it they could just bring an extra filter with them....and make a deeper oil pan.
