Anyone ever consider custom fibreglass fenders integrated into the fenders/quarter panels?

Damn kids... I want an off-road sim!!! And I bet if they didn't have sh*t games like NFS to ruin these kids' perception of reality they'd come to appreciate simulation games for the realism and effort required, and consequently, the enjoyment offered by these types of games. BTW, that MOTORM4X looks pretty sweet.

33x12.5 tires shouldn't be hard on the steering, and hopefully to balance that out, I'll be wrapping them around 15x10 wheels. I've got the AC CV axles which I'm hoping will strengthen up the front but I doubt any steering modification will be required.

I'm wondering if it'd be possible to download the cracked version, and load it on to the PS3 HDD and make it playable...? Better yet, maybe it'll get ported over the console world... Motorstorm is excellent, as is Pacific Rift; both really arcade-inlfuenced, though. I'm more of a simulation-based racing enthusiast myself; I am not much of a speed demon. And I made sure to pick up a PS3 that plays both PSOne and PS2 games.

They're American Racing 767's. I'm a bit skeptical on the backspacing; the guy who ordered them for me said it was 5" backspacing. When they came in he said 4.75"... For the tires they're Toyo Open Country A/T's, 32x10.5 and they fit nicely in the wells without any rubbing except when I'm really cranking the wheel in tight places (parking lots, etc.). When the SFD gets here and it's installed, I'm planning on Toyo M/T's, 33x12.5, same wheels but 15x10 with 3" backspacing. There should be lots of meat hanging out the fenders but meh...

My 16x8's have a 4.75" backspacing and it fills the fender damn nice! Minimal rubbing at full lock but that's it, and I'm rollin' 32" tires.

Your av alone is good times. Just go SAS; it'd be worth it! Would 7100's front and rear be a good set-up?

As if this was all unexpected? Nissan wouldn't be an exception to what's taking place in the automotive industry. I like what Ghosn's done since taking over the Sunny Badge so kudos to him. Nevertheless, with current economic conditions the world over, no automaker is safe.

That's 90% of the fun, though! That knowledge aside, however, lifting a R50 to fit 35's can be a time- and money-consuming endeavour. That doesn't mean it isn't worth it!

How about coilovers for the front? Not to threadjack but I've always been a bit indifferent to the front suspension on the R50. It's a love/hate relationship. Back to the rear, would 12" 7100's with the SFD and 33's be ideal?

Never used Pro-Comp before and I've heard both good and bad about its products. I'm impressed with the Bilstein 5100's I've got in the back so I'm thinking I'll just stick with what's good. As for Fox, I contacted them, and was told to look elsewhere... ...Asshats.

That connection is supposedly the fail on most early model R50's, mine's no exception. In cold weather, no DRL's; I got 'em when it's -10C or higher. I'm guessing the only real long-term solution is to resolder it yourself and hope for the best.

You could try NAPA... But your best would be a local shop 'cause sometimes if you plan on getting enough product you'll get a deal.

Yeah, for 35's you'd be better off with the WD... To fit 33's a subframe drop is your only option. That's the "downside" to owning a unibody. But anything is impossible if you have the time and resources. Good luck.

I'd like to go SAS only once the SFD and engine swap is done, though.
