  1. Check your diff, Andrew. If it's milky pink, change the fluid.
  2. That's a sick breather set-up, Tyler. Where did you locate the hose, and what kind of hose did you use?
  3. LOL Have a looksee here; these may interest you: http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=21209
  4. If I were to install 15x10 steelies, would 3" BS work?
  5. From the pic it looks like you should be fine. I would look into extensions anyways, though. Nice shot BTW.
  6. I think badass is an understatement where Tyler's rig is concerned...
  7. /\ Take your Chevy crud elsewhere...
  8. As far as I have been able to research regarding the R50, the same tranny, designed by Jatco, was used in all automatic models: RE4R01A. I'm sure it will be sufficient for the diesel conversion; it would essentially make it a JDM set-up...
  9. That's one option, available in the JDM R50 in '96 and '97. '98 saw the introduction of the QD32ETI, which has a little more power than the TD27. Both the TD27 and QD32 are feasible because they use the same mounts as the VG33 in the JDM R50's from '96-'99. I've been told the transmissions are also the same but I have yet to confirm that. So far the only challenge is actually finding a QD32 here in Canada. Shipping just the engine from Japan won't be cheap. Not to mention just how much better the fuel economy is. That's one of my bigger concerns... Shipping parts from overseas is never cost-feasible...
  10. The Vancouver up here is... F*cking gangster douchebags and crackhead sketchies ruining our cities...
  11. /\ You make a solid point, Alex. But I'm going to be last person to hop on the VQ-wagon; I want to go turbo diesel solely for the fact it'll have killer low-end torque and sip fuel. I've come to terms with the VG being what it is. It gets the job done in my mind.
  12. No worries. I'm sure it's not the first time and won't be the last. You should post a video for us 'cause I bet it sounds badass.
  13. You can do suspension lift and spacers for sure. Those two should culiminate in a 3" lift compared to stock. Keep in mind the strain on your CV axles will be horrendous; invest in some manual locking hubs. Torsion bars don't exist on the the R50; a subframe drop is possible though. It's basically a body lift for a unibody...
  14. No need to apologize; it was a good question to ask. In all honesty, the OME coils are of considerably better quality and design and will stay strong for a long, long time. The AC coils are good but they tend to wear a lot quicker. But, they are comparitively stiff, though. A good buy.
  15. That was my reaction after being told that... Apparently, the rear coils can be interchanged. Don't ask me how; I just thought I'd throw it out there...
  16. I never considered what the price should be. Oops... Thanks for the advice, Mike!
  17. I'd say without stiffer coils, you'd expect the front to sag with a behemoth like the ARB up front. That's even moreso the case with OEM coils, not to mention there's nearly 200k on 'em. Just so you know, OME offers a set of front HD coils which should help support that hefty bumper.
