Help. Only have reverse and first gear. Vss, revolution sensor?
Cuong Nguyen replied to jamesr403's topic in The Garage
Thr revolution sensor is on the transfer case adapter I think or on the tranny Held in by a 10mm bolt. It's no 19mm bolt for sure. The transmission diagnostics is very similar If not the same as the 94 so you can use the fsm for that. It's possible that you could have burned clutches. Did you see any metal shavings? Just compare the wiring color and then you will know. That's what I had to do. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

Should bolt up with no issues. Don't know the gear g from the zs but sounds like you do. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Yeah the t case just bolts up to the rear so I don't think it should matter how it's operated. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Do you have the 3.5l? If you do they beefed up the internals. So I would not recommend using from a 3.3l. As long as the transmission came from a manual shift and a 3.5l it is the same for all I know right now. I may be wrong so someone might have to correct me if so. Rebuild is not hard once you start taking it apart. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

Back window squirters not working
Cuong Nguyen replied to Canadian_Pathfinder's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
It's a common issue thst the nozzles clog up. The other issue is the rear washer pump seizes up. You can poke through the nozzles with a pin or needle to clear it out. Now to test the pump. Have someone press on the switch and see or hear if the pump spins. It's rearward of the washer fluid tank. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -

Stsrted my shift kit install. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
It could be a poor faulty ground for the man sensor. It's a common issue. Also, you could have a faulty injector. They can become dead or stuck open. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

they just pop out with some gently prying but the wires are short to begin with on some of the switches so you might need to remove the dash trim to get to them. This lead to my steering column cover splitting.

It's like any other timing belt job so you will need to take the belt off to remove the pump. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk

1995 Pathfinder shifting transmission issue?
Cuong Nguyen replied to Macrow's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Check your transmission harness and make sure it didn't melt against your exhaust. I suggest you download the automatic transmission portion of the fsm and go through the troubleshooting procedure. Sounds like an electrical related issue to me but I am not well versed with the transmission yet. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N920A using Tapatalk -
