  1. The little alarm light does that on mine when I have the alarm turned on. Just flip the switch to off if you don't use it. Check the brake fluid for sure, they can come on when fluid is low. Mine doesn't have the tire carrier light but I'm assuming it's just telling you it's not closed all the way.
  2. There are those 2 little black flaps you can put up but besides that I know of nothing really.. You could put a plastic wind deflector thing in front of the sunroof.
  3. That's a good idea, I got them from napa and now they are corporate and not locally owned so chances are I think they will when I talk to them. They had my shocks in actually and they never have anything Nissan in stock ever.
  4. Yeah I just put them in last year and they all went soft, so I went and get them replaced for free until I can buy better ones.
  5. Haha yeah that's a question topic that will never die sadly ..
  6. Haha that's a good idea! Did they ask for a receipt though?
  7. Oh ahah darn. didn't see that. sorry guys
  8. I didn't even know the tranny could go into fail safe mode, I was thinking the engine.. but that's good to know too. I have a manny so I haven't encountered that problem yet..
  9. Don't ask how I found this.. kinda cool and funny. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS8KXHBCimo
  10. Thanks for the info! I'll interested in the springs, just need the cash first. As for the route, I use this as my DD so I love the idea of the sas but I dont see me going down that rode for a long time..I love to off road anytime I can. So for now just a 3inch suspension is what I'm thinking. Yeah, I have done most of everything else you could possibly do to the pathy, except for the suspension. I should have done it when I had the money last year.. I have no idea how it handles back on the 235's. I sold those to my buddy when I got the swampers and I kick myself everyday now for it. BUT! hahah that's funny! I never saw that!
  11. Fail safe mode perhaps? what if the light for the cel is out?
  12. Is that only on the old vg30I's? or are you saying any motor in general... I've used it once on my old vg30, Didn't blow that much white smoke but it still ran great.
  13. I think I have 1 inner and outer and a knuckle on lifetime from autozone but I need to double check. Great info, thanks guys.
  14. Yeah I'll get around to replacing all of those for sure. Hmm maybe I'll pull out the bearings again just to see how they are looking after running the big tires and such. But awesome! if I make good money like last summer I will for sure be buying the s1 cams and putting them in! along with customs bumpers, and a new light rack. thanks for the help
  15. There is a lever on mine and since yours is a se, im assuming yours has it as well, but it can make the front of the seat go up about 2 inches and down 2 inches.. I think it's the one in front of the gas tank opener.. see if that helps.
  16. Okay heres the story, my front end is in bad shape due to my 33inch super swampers..So! I need to replace all the BJ's, shocks, 1 cv boot thats torn now, bushings on the sway bar,tie rods, torsion bars, centerlink also. Should I just get Ac's 3inch suspension lift? Or just go to napa and start replacing what I need then lift later. The rear is in bad shape also, the springs are very worn and so are all the bushings. I get death wobbles very badly at low speeds, like 25-40 mph, so I don't drive often. I can't drive the truck right due to it being expired and me not having a job from going to school. So I thought it would be a good idea to plan ahead for the next 2 or 3 months till I have a job and some money rolling in. Should I also replace the wheel bearings? I repacked both last year but I'm thinking they are still stock.. Bushing on the control arms also? What would happen if I got bigger cams from JWT and put them in while running the VG33 swap on the stock ecu? Hoohaa centerlink? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks. BTW, I got around to checking the shocks on it and the driver was complete mush, passengers wasn't bad but still taking them in, they're sensa trac.. I know, I know.. but the lifetime warrenty isn't bad. I'll be getting those replaced tomorrow and we will go from there.
  17. same problem also.. haven't gotten around to fixing it yet. I went to napa one time to see how much they wanted for new and of course you can't just buy the one part, it's all nothing. I remember it being around my left arm and foot! looks like i'll be at the junk yard when summer rolls around.
  18. Ugh why can't they have this kind of awesome stuff in utah? I would totally be in if I wasn't so far away.
  19. Even with the new motor I dont like to run synthetic. It just seems to run better with good old napa oil.
  20. Climbing a snow bank at school.. and I heard a popping sound, got out and the hub was like that.. Good thing i carry spares. It was a milemarker.
  21. Mine are poof painted. They lasted about 1 year before the paint started to chip a lot, but not bad for about 10$ Heres some pics. Im going back to chrome now though. Before After
  22. that is very cheap! good deal! who wants to see a blown up hub of mine?!
  23. I should really make a, "How to video" on, How to put you pathfinder or hardbody in 4LOW. lol.
  24. I got them off a site called ksl, its like a craigslist but for utah, idaho, and wyoming only. The tires were on for a total of 10 minutes then i found them and bought them.
