I replaced parts of the floats and fuel pump a while back so maybe I messed something up then because that was before I put in good VR so I might have to tear into that again.

Good idea, I was going to poke around the gas tank today and see where the wiring is all at. From what I understand, the wires are just a straight shot from the tank to the gauges so yeah. I also even switched the gauges themselves to see if that was the problem and still nothing.
-
Yes I Checked both and they were getting just over 8 volts. I will need to do that, the ground I know has problems. It burnt up one time a while back..
-
Still nothing.. I even tried 2 different VR's that were both good and still nothing is working.. Any help?

Is that for the auto trans?

Ball Joints and Tie Rod Ends Choice

Whatever you do get, make sure they have lifetime warranties. It will save you in the long run. -
What are the drawback so far?

Hey, how did you get into my head and start stealing my ideas?? Hahaha

I used the VG33 injectors, but every now and then it will idle high as it warms up. Other than that, never any problems with it. Be sure to do a full tune up on it. Once I had the engine in, I didn't have the chance to tune it up for 2 days, just drove it up the block and it ran like crap but once it was tuned nicely, no problems.
-
It's not really resetting it but run the diagnostic on it once. Like as if you were pulling a code, then put it back into the normal mode and see if that works.
-
I have the vg33 swap in my 90 and it's off about 5mph too, but I have 33 superswampers on it as well so that for sure doesn't help. I had no smog problems on mine. Did you reset your ecu? I did a few test on it once I got the engine in so you may want to check that. How old is your cat?

Wiring... WOW! I'm very jealous...

I have a K&N on it right now, but eventually that will be modded this summer to a type of cold air-ram air setup. Right now I just have the muffler and back done. Flowmasters 2.25 to the exhaust tip. I love the VG33 swap! Best thing I have ever done the the pathy. My old black had 232000 miles on it and it had no guts of whatsoever, the new engine only has 60000 miles on. When I first drove the pathy after the swap I wasn't used to all the power. I broke loose the new 33inch superswampers a few times by accident because I wasn't used to all the power.

Thanks B, I just want to make it run like its supposed to and not hold it back. Perhaps I'll stick with new headers, a high flow cat, and get it in 2.25 then..

Clutch pedal pressure issues.....
thehuntersam replied to zack1978's topic in 90-95 WD21 Pathfinders
Yes, could be that they were never bled right, or that one or the other has a leak. -
I have some questions that I could could use some help with. Ever since I did the VG33 swap, I keep thinking to myself that the exhaust setup it a bit restrictive. Right now I have the stock headers on with the original cat. I have on a Flowmasters Muffler thats 2.25 all the way out to the tip. Didn't the VG33 engines have like a 2.5 inch exhaust all the way through? If so, should I just up grade the whole exhaust system to a 2.5 all the way through?

Maybe they need to be re-bled again.. -
When I mean "the strut moved" the whole spring would turn as he turned the wheel. That just didn't seem right to me along with the almost "popping sound" it made.

Any video?

Sounds like its time for some new parts then. Struts.
