  1. let me talk to a guy on another board that sucked some serious water and had major work done... i know it was at the stealer but he knows what when on... i'll get back to you with that in the next couple of days...
  2. the ones i've seen were the color of the ground in my sig (a bit darker).. yours does look sage in the pic
  3. lol. that'd do it... just read you manual and look twice etc.. and ask away....
  4. NO! but with that many miles maybe it needs some hard core maintenance... injectors could also be pretty fouled up... i've had similar issues in other trucks and it was always something with the fuel system, not delivering enough, or overheating this assuming you didn't get anythign wet.... check pump, filter, carb (tbi or whatever)... you may want to check the fuel lines for leaks, kinks, or any other damage...
  5. here is the easiest and cheapest solution to your prob.. STAY OUT OF MUD!!!.
  6. change air filter... use a hand hair dryer to dry up soaked cylinders.. use gas drier (heet) additive to drive the rest of the aqua out of the fuel system...
  7. engine bay by the fire wall... maybe your fuel pump is weak too... did your truck get hot?
  8. the most popular around here are blk, white, champagne, and a few silver ones... i've only seen a couple red ones and maybe a couple hunter green ones (almost bought both of them but came to my senses)... blue is very rear and the exact semi-dark metallic blue, as my old truck was, i only saw 2 ever... one on the highway in southern WI or northerns IL and another ones somewhere else... i have seen a few light and dark blue but just a few... most of these encompass 86-95 as to not seing many offroad.. well heck... more room for me.. lol
  9. i've never had to cut any wires on my tk... everything has a disconnector..
  10. location? can't really tell what i am looking at... maybe another one with a wider view...
  11. fuel could be the culprit but, i'v never had any problems... so could fuel filter and of course everything else.. injectors, pump...blah, blah, blah.... you actually have to cranck it untill it starts? hmmm.. oh my...
  12. kool man. i bet you got the teeth off and then when you reinstalled the dist. after cracnking you got it right on... regardless
  13. so everything is cool? i was posting while you posted that she was alive.. but how well?
  14. yup, no prob... when i measured it looked like 32" mud tire was about the limit on my truck...
  15. you don't have to do the screwdriver method... just a suggestion.. that's how i always do it to make sure... as long as the dist rotor pointing squarely! onto the blade in the cap as everything else aligns then your on it... but if not then you're of by a tooth or two on the dist.... which will make it run like crap...because you're out of time and will not be able to get on time until you get the teeth of the dist. right... i've had to mess with this before and it's pretty easy to miss it by a tooth or two when reinserting the dist...
  16. 1m=3ft and that's all you need. i've never had to back up any more then that.. maintaing the hubs (clean and re-pack) once in a while will do wonders...
  17. sounds to me like you're out of time... play with it... you could also be off a tooth on the dist. TDC-get a screwdriver in through spark plug hole (cyl#1) and turn the engine manually... when the screw driver is at the highest you're in TDC
  18. depends on your tires possibly but check the things mentioned just above...
  19. i was being a bit sarcastic there...just put a couple of large hose clamps hooked togather and tighten that... the factory banding is not really adjustable...
  20. push it back on.. retighten the clamp... just an idea
  21. this sound really good man.. pix would be nice... the only problem i can see is if you bump something you may not be able to withdraw the tubing form one another to make the anchor neck... good luck though...
  22. i've only seen two troopers out wheeling but since you're asking on npora i'd say get a Pathfinder and be done with it... lol
