  5. dude this is your problem --> http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?showto...=0entry109558 or v. a v.
  6. the same ones i am reffering to would be my guess. msd 6a - not sure what is
  7. all of the above.. timing related most likely.. one or two teeth off or something like that... i don't think it's just out of time because it wouldn't run smooth and he doesn't mention hesitation or backfire or anything like that. 1 deg. off is nothing.. i tune by ear because no engine is the same and they don't all wanna run right on the dot. not sure if over tightening the t-belt would do this but 88 may know since he had a bunch of issues with t-belts a while back. or maybe it's loose.. search the forums because 88 found a better(?) way to do tighten the thing... it's been a while so that why the (?) can't remember exactly but it wasn't feeler gages. anyone remember the count between the sprockets? it's somewhere here in this forum iirc.
  8. they do tend to overfill; not the first time i have heard that.
  9. it's not really up for liking.. you have very limited choices (still talking stick tranny)
  10. wow. another shining example of why i diy.. good luck.. i am thinking along slicks thoughts here, especially the latter. check everything and if you don't find the culprit go to another mechanic and have it checked out.. keep records just in case you have to go after the lube place... they wrecked one of my cars long time ago and that was the last time i didn't do my own oil change.
  11. if you have a stick, cup holders that fit are easy to find at walmart and other places.. search is good
  12. well, good luck finding either.. i think we're up to dextron4 now anyway.. lol dextron 2 is what's called for 94 so i don't see how they can call for an older fluid in a newer truck.. hmm?
  13. bike is little different then vehicle.. traction can be gained by sinking through the loose stuff. the engine has the power to deal with that but one's legs may not be strong enough.
  14. the gl4 and extra quart only applies to wd21s as far as i am aware.. the dextron ii in t-case is what they call for. i put in gl5 in mine long time ago and so far so good. have wheeled a bunch.. i had a funny gl smell for a while but that went away and everything seems to be working
  15. clean/check your MAF. with all the goodies listed in your sig i am thinking your MPGs are about right though..
  16. yeah, it takes a different MC for the 4 discs system. there is a proportioning valve involved.. MC is dead when the brake pedal goes to the floor when the system is air free. otherwise i'd look into an air leak somewhere..
  17. we'll exchange stories at badlands if you make it.. steelX is one of my buds man. he is a really good guy. hyper* as hell, YES but, also good.
  18. for the most part they are the same.. minor difference like folks above said. at the outo parts store they said either t-belt would work on my 94.
  19. shouldn't be any different.. a little of a PITA otherwise it's the same part
  20. camping.. maybe not wheeling.. lol.. that's what i told steelX anyway.. got him all worked up.. 100deg., 'nuf said. :o hope you get fixed quick.
