oh yeah, if it is a problem. when you do your tranny flush, add transmission treatment. fluid. lucas brand is the best. before i had my tranny rebuild and before i added that stuff, my tranny was shifting and slipping, and god knows what. i addded that stuff and tranny starting working fine, until i busted it. DO NOT climb extremely steep hills in "D" use low gears. learned it the hard way. that stuff really works. here's a link to lucas: http://www.lucasoil.com/products/display_p...atid=2&loc=show

well, when you mentioned that when you turned off the power at-switch on the dash the problem went away, and turned it back on and the problem came back. when the power at-switch is on, the tranny shifts at higher rpm than normal. don't know if that's exactly your problem. mine for example, if i have that swithc off, i'll shift gears at about 2500-3500 maybe higher rpm, but when i have that switch on, it shifts at much higher 4500+. sometimes i don't have enough room(road wise) to get that high of rpm to make it shift. i don't know if that's normal, but we'll find out when more poeple post. when i drive mine path in the mornings, my tranny does not shift out of first. i have to take it real, i mean real easy when it's cold. after it's warmed up, runs strong. i've pretty sure you're fine.

i got three cup holders. two that slides into the ashtray, and three, between my thighs(spell). my titan however, has 10 cup holders.
-
right when i got my 33's, we decided to put them on the runner. just to see if they fit and they did. only the fronts.
-
you got that one right
-
w/out a lift no way jose. 31's no prob, 32's maybe. you know what, my cousin had a 91 4runner( all stock). we put my 33's on the runner and it acutally fit. it rubbed alittle but good enough to drive not 4wheel.

i took mine off because of it being all loose and broken. when my dad came home and saw the console sitting on the ground, he got mad and made me put it back. i bolted that thing back on with pieces of metal and other garbage. other than that, aftermarket, i looked too but had no luck. us Pathfinder owners are totally out of luck when it comes to that kind of aftermarket junk. the only thing i can think of is either fix it, go to the junkyard or go to the dealer.
-
awww, they're bathtising the Pathfinder in mud. now that's what i'm talking about. -bounce- -bounce- -bounce- -bounce-

same thing, L.A. is shifting North and San Fransico shifting South, they said that in about 15million years or so Los Angeles and San Fransico will be right next to each other. Oh yeah, i don't know if you guys heard the rumor that if an earthquake large enough hits L.A., L.A. will serperate and become an island. that's all bogus too. but that would be cool, not the quake be the island.
-
you know, interesting fact i read the other day. there was this movie that aired here in LA some time ago called 10.5. it was about a 10.5 quake here in LA. total distruction. the fact i came up on was that's it's impossible for an earthquake of that mag to hit the west coast. matter in fact a magnitude of 8.5+ is unlikely. why? because the anderes fault here is only 800miles long. so therefore it's not long enough to cause friction causing a mag of 8.5 or greater, even 8.0. i found that interesting.
-
good luck out there. take care of your self. we'll be here when you get back. have a safe trip.
-
i had no idea charlotte was banking city of the U.S. i'd rather have earthquakes than terrorist attacks. I think terrorists are more likely to strike Los Angeles than Charlotte. But than again, you never know, they strike at the least expect place and time.

the lock rite is insane, i really like it. a lot better than i thought it would. my friend who helped me install it was very impressed of the performance, he deiceded to get one for his samuari. when i have one wheel in the air, the one tire that's one the ground pushes forward or reverse no problem. remember i'm also 2wd. i'm able to go much futher than this guys 4x4 4runner. whole different rig. i give it two thumbs,

Since we continue getting more and more members, i was wondering if we have new members from so cal. there is only a few here, no more than 5 i think. but still, we're all spread apart. i'm from LA, others are from Santa Barbra area, San deigo, and etc. if you are from so cal, speak out.

after 4wheeling, i always reconnect the rear sway. i leave the front off, i don't feel any differences. but the other day, i went again, but this time, i was too lazy to put the rear sway back on. i was on a pretty curvy cayon on the way down, i was taking it easy and was not a problem. did NOT feel any body roll or anything. i took the streets home with an average of 25-30mph. freeway wise, i'm not going on the freeway w/out them. if i did roll, why would i blame Nissan? i'll just flip it back and continue on my way.

umm let's see. you can get HD steering components from calmini. bit pricey, but worth it. if you're on a budget check out 4x4parts.com. i'd get all of the steering components, control arms from calmini, but too expensive. here's a link.calmini there is so much you can do. a lot of different options. check out 4x4parts.com and purenissan.com. all my parts expect for the locker, shocks and prerunner bar are from 4x4parts.com. i think they're pretty good. but 88pathoffroad will give you a different opinion on them.

i'm in the los angeles area, i'm in the san fernando valley. we got shook up pretty good here. sunday morning, i was in bed, yesterday, i was at my g/f's house when it started shaking. i think their kinda fun, but not when you're 25ft up in the air on a sissor lift. as far as you being on a sissor lift while it shook, it'll take me a long time to get back up on one of those, i'd $hit bricks!!!

this last few weeks, there have been a lot of earthquakes. one massive quake in chile, i think, somewhere in south america. the massive quake off the coast of northern cali, and a few shakes rattle and rolls here in so. cal. it's kinda freaky about all these quakes happening all of a sudden. i know that us, so cal residents are way over due for the big one i guess. everyone around here is saying that the big one is comming soon. all i know is that if we do have one, i hope it's during the night, when it usual is because i'm at work(graveyard shift) and at the airport. so once it starts shaking, i'm headed towards the middle of the runway.

here's a picture of my path at the same location but at different times. the one on the left was couple days ago w/out the sway bar, and the one to the right is from almost a year ago, right after i got it lifted, with sway bar. huge differnece i think.
-
i went wheelin the other day, here are some pictures. check out how the front tire is stuff. it didn't do that before. and with the rear sway off, flexed pretty good. also another i think i noticed w/ out the front sway is the ride is alittle nicer. i did drive on the freeway, no sway at all. the ride on the trail was alot smoother.

can you find out, or can i find out what gear ratio it is if i call the number? thanx man.
