I know that on my WD21 there is a c-clip that keeps the half shaft for doing what you are describing. Was there a clip on yours when you installed the warns??? Just a thought. James

Yeah, my 2dr is a very basic one. XE-v6 with a 5-speed. I would need to find me a LSD for the rear and try to get ahold of those baja bars for the front and rear bumpers. I already have a set of lego's and I want to paint them black, if I go with that paint scheme my paint them to match the red white blue theme. I need to get my graphic artist friend to photo shop me a pic of my pathy in the paint scheme and see how it looks. Will post the pic when done and get the forum to chime in on it. James

Maybe I should do my HB as a tribute type thing?? HMMMMM. I still think it would look good on a 2dr pathy. James

I got these as a second set when i bought my 93 Pathy and as you can see the outers have some damage. Can they be fixed or not??? Wan to use them on one of my other Nissans. And then the next is just a close up of the one with damage. These are what you wanted i hope B. James

If i remember reading correctly in one of the how-tos or build threads you should be able to compress the lifters with your hands??? They could be stuck or clogged with gunk. IIRC there is a thread that talks about rebuilding them. Sorry I couldn't help more. James

Not with that unit. Your are going to have to have your third member rebuilt. If you want just to pull one out and put one back in look at replacing the whole thing. If you search on here there are threads that talk about using the third members from frontiers and x-terras.

That thing looks mean as hell on 40's. i would love to see the faces of the wheelers when they see you drive up in that beast. james

Well al righty then. I will be looking into getting that part. This seems to be the only problem with the 86.5 right now that concerns the engine other than finding the damn hoses and stuff. I love the sliders and was wondering were they custom made or off the self units. Do they make them to fit a 93 Pathy??? maybe a 2dr 86.5 Pathy?

Yep. I will now only get parts that are nissan from him. I wonder what they would say if I told them that the MSRP of the part was and asked why they want so much more for it? James

Just called my Nissan dealer and asked for a price quote on the part number for the rubber stopper. I was quoted $8.16 ea while this same part from where Alkorahil works is $2.51 ea. Man my dealer is ripping people off on parts prices. That is an enormous markup even over the MSRP of the item of $3.40 ea. James

Well I finally got to check my MAF on the 86.5 Pathy. It was clean with no buildup. Will check the codes tomorrow.

1993 XE-V6 5spd with 258k+ on the odometer. I just bought it and hope it makes it till I get the timing belt changed. My 86.5 XE-V6 5spd has 202k+ on it, but the engine is less than 30k. James

I definitely was not expecting that to happen after asking about removing taillights. As you said no turning back now. James

Cool. I will definitely be doing that update. I plan on doing a lift but have to save up the money for the new UCA's. Just have to find the right ones. James
