  1. Found out what was making it run like crap after doing the plugs, wires, and distibutor stuff. The bleep bleep bleeping vacuum line that is back there by the number 6 plug. And all of this after the 8 inches of snow is now fully melted.
  2. I first learned to drive a standard using an old Subaru car 80 something?? Can't remember, was doing detail work for the repo cars for my dad's bank. Had to move the car and my dad said "If you want to get paid full price for the clean up you have to do all the work for it." So moving the car in my yard was my first experience. Then I was also learning driving my Highschool football coaches chevy luv pickup during practice moving all of the team equipment. Fun times in Highschool. James
  3. Looks like I might be in the same predicament as some of you. My tranny whines in 5th gear, so along with all of the other issues I'm having with it now, it looks like it will be coming off the road for awhile so I can buy everything it needs.
  4. I was actually driving that year. I had a 71' Ford pickup, automatic, no power steering, 302 v8. Miss that truck. James
  5. Well guys it looks like I may be getting me a cat this weekend. A friend of my mom said she has a cat in her apartment complex that is a inside cat that has been put out and forgotten. I'm going to try and go see it and if things go well, I will be taking her to the vets for a checkup and making her a part of the family. If all goes well will post some pics. James
  6. It's good to hear that you are sticking around. I too have not only 2 WD21's but I also have a D21. If you have ever done a auto to manual trans swap please give me a pm, I want to do that to my truck. If you know someone who can help me or a forum thread it would be much appreciated. James
  7. I know that this is old but wanted to say if you search on here you will find that they put it up for sale on craigs list and had pics of it outside the shop. james
  8. Good luck and god speed. Or as we sailors are apt to say "Fair winds and following seas!!" Hope it all goes good for you. James
  9. It wasn't. Only problem is that they cut and added a relay in main power wire to the ignition switch. Now I'm a little worried it may not crank. James
  10. Pulled out an old alarm setup that I didn't even know was there till today and the PO didn't know about it either.
  11. Just wondering which brackets went where??? I want to do this for my Pathys. Thanks for the write up. James
  12. I like that setup where did you get that at??? James
  13. Yeah, see if you can get some factory steelies or something like that for the off road tires. I hope to one day have the money for the TE37x's that you have on yours. I really like the looks of those rims. James
  14. What tires did you use as a replacement??? I know the ones on it were more street oriented??? James
  15. Thanks for the real world info on the calmini arms. Appreciate it. Good luck with the swap. James
