MultiQuote allows you to quote multiple people at one time, so you don't have to make multiple posts to address several people. Just click MultiQuote on all the posts you want to quote then there should is a button that says Reply to X Quoted Post(s). After clicking it you make your post like normal, just with multiple quote blocks. Pictures can be a pain, out of all the sites I've tried I like postimage.org best. I usually try not to do too many pics per post to avoid losing a lot of work. Also, the reason pictures have to be stored externally is to keep the cost of running the forum down. I think Mr. Jim still pays for it; you don't have to pay dues, so a small inconvenience to help keep the bill down for whoever foots the bill is well worth it in my opinion... Unlike other forums, NPORA doesn't have ad banners all over the place, which I really appreciate.

I'm thinking for now I'll remove as much of the loose stuff as I can and use a rust inhibitor like por 15, then cover it with a big piece of rubber or something to minimize slush and salt getting in the engine bay.

It's solid elsewhere in the strut tower area, most of the original paint is intact and not bubbling on the inside and outside, there's just a bad region in 3 of my wheel wells...

As I was gearing up for my next upgrades, I got knocked down by something pretty awful. If you're from the south you probably won't understand and will just say I should replace it, if you're from the north you'll get it. So many difficult decisions to make, and none are cheap. All I was trying to do was rotate my tires (at least I got that accomplished I guess), and as I got to the last tire I had this ugly thing staring me in the face...wasn't there a couple months ago. I knew something was starting there, but crikey it got out of control fast.....anyway, if you have a weak stomach don't scroll down...here we go. Thoughts? Comments? Personal experiences? Talked to the guy who did my bumper tonight, and he's booked solid until early spring. I'd hate to wait that long, but he's confident that it'll be fine enough until then and I'm confident that he'll do a good job. Not interested in going to the dealership, if I'm going to fix it I want it fixed right and without any BS.

If you use these springs to get 4" of lift in the rear a 4" lift in the front would match nicely, and I believe Johann Peralta (look him up on Facebook) has one left; they're not easy to come by.

Sounds good so far! Throw some pictures up for sure! I'd say add a winch to that list, as long as you're building bumpers anyway.

You definitely wouldn't feel a loose heatshield. I'm inclined to think something driveshaft related?

When does it happen? Idling or driving?

Unless Google is wrong that's 30.5" tall. It should fit just fine. How bad is the rubbing, and where is it? The stock tires are 29.5" tall, and I highly doubt at extra half inch all the way around would cause problems. I'd bet only 1 or 2 inches of lift would be necessary to alleviate the problem.

Ouch, that's an annoying expense. Hopefully it fixes your problem.
