  1. Not to be rude or anything but you get what you pay for. You can't expect to buy any car for $500 and expect it to be perfect can you? I would expect just as many problems as you stated or more when purchasing a $500 car/truck. Unless you were just by chance very lucky. Just my .02
  2. I did sorta the same thing except I took the 17's off a titan and had the center bore machined. Then I used automotive matte black and sprayed them in a spray booth. Then I had to custom make some center caps. I used a bigger size - 255x75 17" making mine approx 32"x10" something. I totally agree, it makes the pathy look updated! This is before the centers were completed and before the full size spare made it on the back I don't have many pics of the new setup at all yet.. -Colby
  3. Thanks guys!! I painted them with a product that has a matte finish then got some stickers off ebay so they'd have that nismo look.
  4. LOL! No worries, I wouldn't have known except that in getting these wheels custom machined and ready and looking for sizes to fit them that would look good and fit on my truck I've been over this like 1000+ times in the past 2 months! They're wheels off a titan I had to have them machined then I painted them with automotive myself then had to make my own custom centers due to the center bore being drilled all the way through and out the front the oem centers no longer worked!
  5. Go here and check for yourself - 255x75 17 http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp I edited this because a picture will make things less confusing. -Colby
  6. I've got 17" wheels with 255x75 BFG M/T's on them (about 32's) and I don't have any probs with mine and it's stock.
  7. I bought and installed KYB shocks for one of my first cars as an upgrade.. They were GREAT!! (being it was an '82 Capri/Mustang and the shocks were pretty much trashed to begin with)
  8. Well, my alternator died 2 days ago and I decided to follow SS's advice. I have to tell you it went in as smoothly as an OEM part (I have my own impact tools for pulley swapping). I went to Autozone and picked up an alternator for a 90 Maxima (SOHC). It was substantially less then the direct replacement for the Pathy!! Now I'm cruising around with 20 more amps than OEM and for less spread woo hoo!! THANKS!!! -Colby
  9. I took mine out yeterday mainly because it was shake, rattlin, and rollin so much it was driving me insane!! I think it rides smoother too!! Shoulda taken it out sooner.
