Well a little update here...haven't decided what I want to name the new one yet so yall should throw some names out one might stick...got my roof rack transfered over tonight...gonna do the manual locking hubs tomorrow...and probably the cv and axles...I'll be removing parts from Betsy as I get time but hopefully not to long...I am swapping gears the new one has the 4.3 gears and Betsy has 4.6 so I'm taking the better ones Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Well the Betsy build is coming to the end and she will soon see the junkyard...however a new r50 that has yet to be named will take her place...swapping my lift and all my parts to the new truck and will hopefully be able to hit some trails by the summer time! Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

No Its not completed...litterly every wire has to come out of the car with a 3.5 nothing matches up...the transmission wiring goes into the main dash harness same with the 4x4 wiring...ignition wiring runs into the engine bay it's different abs wiring is different which is in the dash harness you have to reolace...everything! Nothing is the same and I'm telling you now it's not worth it...I'm thinking about finding an 01 and transferring all my lift just so I don't have to rewire everything Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Been doing a little work here and there...as much as I can anyway...I still need the wiring for the transmission solenoid and ignition...then my wiring issue will be solved...I got the valve covers changed the new motor was leaking oil before I got it...and I have completely deleted the AC system so all old parts removed...ac compressor taken off and a new drive belt for the other accessories installed...once it quits raining I'm going to install new brake booster and master and finish my brake lines Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

OK just to help anyone out on here who decides they think they might want to do this let me stop you now! Lol I'm mid build on this and it was not a good idea...yes I'm going to love my power difference once it's done and yes I will get it done but not before completely removing every wire on the whole front half of this truck...nothing matches up from these 2 engines and to get everything you need the whole truck has to be completely re wired and it's a pain being that I don't have a donor truck sitting in my driveway Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

So being that I had a 3.3 and now I'm swapping to a 3.5 I have this air box as well with all the crazy vacuum lines running to it...I want to ditch the air box and run something else with a snorkel what are my options Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Yea she's been sitting since November for some other issues it had I started the main part of my build probably about late January...so I'm pretty happy to be as far as I am by mid April it's been a lot of fun Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

Well I got the rear part of my lift installed tonight and it looks awesome! All that's left it to finish wiring the dash bolt up the transmission mount my bumpers and rock sliders and phase one will be complete...it's been a very long couple months but hard work and many hours later I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel...can't wait to take her out on some adventures Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk
