  2. next weekend i plan on ordering strut mounts from the member on here and im thinking about ordering the sfd next summer the spacers im ordering now are 1.5"(front) 1.75"(rear) would i b able to use the spacers im ordering now with the spacers in the sfd kit
  3. re did my intake again went from a 6" tube(in length) to a 4" tube i don't know how well its going to work but its for Saturday only so but i made a guard out of cardboard for my air filter because there's a mud run this weekend and the road to get there is a pit in its self so it made me think that if i get in to any mud or water where it hits the fan its going to cover my air filter and it doesn't cut much space away from the air filter to pull air all it dose is but a wall between the filter and the fan and it gets bent over by the hood i tested it to see if the intake would move it at all or if the wind would move it by going down the road at 60-65 mph and hammering on it and it didn't move and the road was went (little confused why as it hasn't rain but owell) and the card board was spotted but not soaked so i think it will do
  4. i get between 15 -19 depending on how im driving but in a normal week driving to work and back is about 120 miles and i go through a little over a quarter tank of gas i have a custom cold air intake that helps i went from eating half a tank of gas a week to a little over a quarter so
  5. I'm looking for a stiffer ride in the rear overall because I haul alot of scrap metal and since I broke my truck the pathfinder is now the scrap hauler but with a trailer with the truck I usually haul around 700-800 pounds I know I can't do that with the pathfinder but if I can get 400-500pounds ill be happy Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  6. hi im going to lift my pathfinder with spacers at the end of the month and im going with 1.75" in the rear i was told that i could run the stock shocks but i would lose 1.75" of upward travel i would rather keep my up travel the same or close to it. i found on summit racing two shocks that look like they might work they are 1. Pro Comp Suspensions part# 114500 ( is 1.74" longer than stock at extended) Description Shock Absorber, ES1000, Heavy Duty Replacement, Twin-Tube Straight Can, Black Shock Boot Included, Each Adjustable No Body Diameter (in) 1.750 in. Boot Color Black Boot Included Yes Bushing Color Black Bushing Material Rubber Collapsed Length (in) 9.850 in. Extended Length (in) 14.940 in. Gas Charged No Internal Design Twin-tube Lower Mount Eyelet Upper Mount Eyelet 2. DJM Suspension part# 1509 (is 2.3" longer than stock at extended) Description Shock/Strut, Gas, Twin-Tube, Driver Side, Rear, Chevy, GMC, Pickup, SUV, Each Adjustable No Body Diameter (in) - Boot Color - Boot Included No Bushing Color Black Bushing Material Polyurethane Collapsed Length (in) 10.250 in. Extended Length (in) 15.500 in. Gas Charged Yes Internal Design Twin-tube Lower Mount Eyelet Upper Mount Eyelet Both have upper and lower eyelet mounts which is what mine has the DJM one is a little longer than the pro comp one and they are both longer than stock. on summitracing they say stock has a stud but i have looked at the ones on my pathfinder and they are both eyelet mounts which ones would you guys go with or that you know would work?
  7. it came on after half a tank of fresh gas(filled up full 5 -6 days before it came on) and im not sure which code number it was
  8. Ya they said that my idle air flow was going off to but I tweaked a hose on my custom intake and it went off so its just the knock sensor Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  9. So yesterday my service engine light came so I took it to autozone to get it checked they said it was the knock sensor causing the light to be on I'm going to get the sensor from rock auto as they are about 40-50 bucks cheaper then every where's else is it something I could do in my driveway or should I take it to a shop? I have the 3.3 v6 and the guy at autozone said you can relocate them so there easier to get to is this true? Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  10. 4. a trans temp guage - reaserching it as i type
  11. i have been looking at this since i destroyed the trans in my truck mudding and i read on here that our transmissions are know to over heat so i would feel more comfortable putting this on the pathfinder as it has to last me a while but while the truck is out of commission its my trail rig./mudder/ dd has anybody used this one or one like it
  12. sombody cut then re conected but crossed colors on the radio and then used a adapter for the aftermarket ... had to end up running my own ground from the battery to the radio and a power from the batt to a switch to the radio and then play a game of finding which ones were the speaker wires so i found the front left front right and rear right but no rear left and no twitters on the windshield pillars
  13. thank you that is exactly what i was looking for so when i go to build my custom bumpers i will have to figure out how to put a swing arm on it
  14. 1. Custom intake - done 2. Custom bumper - on the drawing board I know that they suck but Oh welI i plan on makeing it all out of 2" pipe as I have yet to see a r50 with a tube bumper hopefully I see some progress on this soon 3.lift - on hold I plan on doing the 1.5" spacers up front and the 1.75" spacers in the rear Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. I have only recently became a pathfinder owner and am a newbie to this site but I find myself starting topics that interest me or that I have changed my mind on from a difrent post so I am now only going to post my ideas for modification in here as it changes as much as Taylor swift changes boyfriends
  16. i got a Panasonic head unit not sure which one as it came with the pathfinder and the front Alpine type s 6.5" speakers in the front also came with but had stock rears (weird right?) so i put in 6.5" kicker cs speakers in the rear and i put in a sony 250 watt 2ch amp (soon to be upgraded to a Crunch 1000 Watt mono amp) with a 12" hifonics brutus sub woofer in a custom made mdf box iv herd bad things about the crunch amps but i have 2000 watt 2ch in my 87 IROC-Z with 2 12" kickers and never had any problems and my buddy has the 2000 watt 2ch also powering 2 15" mtx subs in his Cherokee and no problems if you are looking to do anything over 600watts put a capacitor in you can get a 2 fared cap from walmart for under 50 and it will save you from battery and alt issues ( have one from walmart in my car after i went threw 2 batts and 1 alt in a summer)
  17. i was thinking of pulling one of the spare tire racks of a 1995 pathfinder from my local jy and mounting it on my r50 would this work? i plan on taking my spare off from underneath and running a dual outlet muffler and i cant use the stock anyways as its like 29" or 28" tire and im running 31s im thinking ill have to pull the lock mechanism that holds the tire rack to the hatch and mount that and then find someplace to mount the plate. the only problem i think im going to run into is how rounded the rear edge of the r50s are compared to the squarness of the 1995 model http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/32444-stock-spare-tire-carrier-mod/ i found this wile i was looking at pics of the rack and i like how he moved it up farther and to the right i would want to do the same thing and then put my plate on the rack next to the tire if anyone has done it a link to the page would be nice as i have no idea what to search for to find this

  19. so yesterday i found out i had a running light/side marker out so i changed the bulb and it worked i hop in the seat and notice one of the bulbs in my cluster is out so i pulled that apart and the bulb was fine but i replaced it anyways. but it still didn't light so i went and unhooked the side marker and checked the cluster and the light came back on i put the marker back in and the cluster light went off im not sure if the marker light has been out since i got it (late august) what do you guys think? im quite stumped on this one i am pretty good with the electrical system of vehicals i also noticed that one heater nob wont light up if i have the wipers on the one to select the fan speed but the temp nob and the nob to choose where it blows out always light up if i turn the lights on
  20. how tall did you make the front face(where the tow hooks are) of the bumper i want to do something like yours but with a almost prerunner front guard
  21. I would look for them not to have a cat then put a universal hi flow cat farther down in the exhaust and so you can run a 2" or 2.5" full exhaust Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  22. so i think im ganna order the mount kit that comes with 2 mounts and the berrings from summit
  23. im looking at replacing my struts as they have began to bounce when i hit bumps as far as i know the ore the stock ones from 97 im looking at the kyb struts and reusing my coils i was wondering if the strut mounts off my stock struts would work on the new kyb struts? when i do the struts i will also be doing the rear shocks and puting in 1.75 coil spacers in the rear and 1.5 spacers in the front so i am looking at 49.98 for the to rear shocks and 165 for the spacers and 111.58 for the struts thats all with out shipping and tax so im looking at some were around 352.68 after tax so im looking at about 400 with shipping.
  24. I guess I'm lucky here in New York my local jy has usually 3 different r50s a month Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
