  1. looks awesome "my taco" thats great i love tacos (the food) haha
  2. that sounds about right but i would check connections first had a similar issue except for no dash lights on my 92 gmc and it was the bearings and something else in the alternator but i would get it fixed quick becauseif it is the alternator it could do like mine and fry the battery
  3. ya im pretty sure im going to get the safari guard as a full brush guard is to price for me at the moment
  4. ok so that would make sense so all i would have to do is drill new holes to make it fit tight to the bumper i want it just for looks not so much for protection
  5. so if i understand what your saying is it will mount with no modification but will stick farther forward / farther away from the bumper on the pre face lift pathys
  6. so on 4x4 parts .com they have the safari bars for the 199.9 and up pathfinders with that fit a 1997 pathfinder or will it have to be modified to fit
  7. did you just mount it to the rear bumper? like put a metal bar behind the bumper and bolted it to it?
  8. just ordered the lift still haven't found somebody to cut and weld my bumper with out charging me a outrageous amount
  9. Ya they said that the idle air was the reason for the light but the idle air doesn't cause the knock sensor to stop working Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  10. ya i guess that works haha never thought of that iv gone to the local jy probably more than one person should haha i have/had (trucks going to the jy next week) 2 chevys so go figure i had chevy probs
  11. i know its the 6 on 5.5 bolt pattern but when you in the jy and the rims are in the back of a truck or next to one its kinda hard to know the bolt pattern other than the number of lugs
  12. In the second pic you can see the le badge I did I also did the pathfinder badge Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  13. Did my rear chrome today Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk

  15. Has any one messed with the stuff other than me I just did the chrome on my front bumper and plan on doing the rear soon it looks awesome plan on putting pics up tomarro If any of you have any ?s about it got to dipyourcar.com it's a store and a forum that's were I'm getting all my info from Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  16. I only plan on doing a 1.5 spacer in the front so I don't think I'll have a problem an the rims I'm running now have a -3.75 or -4 back spacing I have tires in a 32" on 16" rims but the rims won't fit my pathfinder so it will be cheaper to pick up stock 16" rims at the local jy than to get new tires for the 15" rims Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  17. iv searched here and cant find what im looking for so i was wondering what stock rims that are 16" will fit the r50 right know i have 31s on aftermarket 15" rims and i have 32s on 16" stock chevy rims and i wanted to put them on once i got the lift in but the center hole in the rim is to small on the chevy rims so i was wondering if i could pick up stock 16" Nissan rims preferably the 01 and up rims and have them fit
  18. Gmc also stands for gay mans chevy Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  19. Tpi also means tuned port injection I have a 87 iroc with a 305 with the tpi intake Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  20. next weekend i plan on ordering strut mounts from the member on here and im thinking about ordering the sfd next summer the spacers im ordering now are 1.5"(front) 1.75"(rear) would i b able to use the spacers im ordering now with the spacers in the sfd kit
  21. re did my intake again went from a 6" tube(in length) to a 4" tube i don't know how well its going to work but its for Saturday only so but i made a guard out of cardboard for my air filter because there's a mud run this weekend and the road to get there is a pit in its self so it made me think that if i get in to any mud or water where it hits the fan its going to cover my air filter and it doesn't cut much space away from the air filter to pull air all it dose is but a wall between the filter and the fan and it gets bent over by the hood i tested it to see if the intake would move it at all or if the wind would move it by going down the road at 60-65 mph and hammering on it and it didn't move and the road was went (little confused why as it hasn't rain but owell) and the card board was spotted but not soaked so i think it will do
  22. i get between 15 -19 depending on how im driving but in a normal week driving to work and back is about 120 miles and i go through a little over a quarter tank of gas i have a custom cold air intake that helps i went from eating half a tank of gas a week to a little over a quarter so
  23. I'm looking for a stiffer ride in the rear overall because I haul alot of scrap metal and since I broke my truck the pathfinder is now the scrap hauler but with a trailer with the truck I usually haul around 700-800 pounds I know I can't do that with the pathfinder but if I can get 400-500pounds ill be happy Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk - now Free
  24. hi im going to lift my pathfinder with spacers at the end of the month and im going with 1.75" in the rear i was told that i could run the stock shocks but i would lose 1.75" of upward travel i would rather keep my up travel the same or close to it. i found on summit racing two shocks that look like they might work they are 1. Pro Comp Suspensions part# 114500 ( is 1.74" longer than stock at extended) Description Shock Absorber, ES1000, Heavy Duty Replacement, Twin-Tube Straight Can, Black Shock Boot Included, Each Adjustable No Body Diameter (in) 1.750 in. Boot Color Black Boot Included Yes Bushing Color Black Bushing Material Rubber Collapsed Length (in) 9.850 in. Extended Length (in) 14.940 in. Gas Charged No Internal Design Twin-tube Lower Mount Eyelet Upper Mount Eyelet 2. DJM Suspension part# 1509 (is 2.3" longer than stock at extended) Description Shock/Strut, Gas, Twin-Tube, Driver Side, Rear, Chevy, GMC, Pickup, SUV, Each Adjustable No Body Diameter (in) - Boot Color - Boot Included No Bushing Color Black Bushing Material Polyurethane Collapsed Length (in) 10.250 in. Extended Length (in) 15.500 in. Gas Charged Yes Internal Design Twin-tube Lower Mount Eyelet Upper Mount Eyelet Both have upper and lower eyelet mounts which is what mine has the DJM one is a little longer than the pro comp one and they are both longer than stock. on summitracing they say stock has a stud but i have looked at the ones on my pathfinder and they are both eyelet mounts which ones would you guys go with or that you know would work?
