  1. So today went to the local jy looking for rims and I noticed a couple new pathfinders 2 were r50s and 1 was a wd21 on the wd there are aftermarket lockers the lock wheel on the locker turns smooth Would they fit my r50? And the brand on the lockers said MM not sure what it stands for Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  2. Has any one tried these tires ? I like the look and they seam to be closer to a at tire than a mt tire so I think the wear shouldn't be terrible Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  3. so i think i may still be able to go with 33s because the 33s my friend has are on 17" x 8" rims and today i was talking to one of my othere friends that has 33s on a 16" x 8" rims and his tire mesure just under 33 like 32 1/2 - 32 3/4 i did not mesure the 33s on the 17" rim but when i put them on i couldent even lower the jack all the way and when we rolled one of the 33s on a 16 rim by my tire it fit in the wheel well but i could tell it would rub anytime i turned im thinking that since i have 15" x 10.5" rims with 33s i should end up having enuff room to fit if i take off my mud flaps in the front ( they dont do any good my tires stick out past them) but before i buy the tires im going to try and hunt down a set of 33s on 15 x8 or 15 x10 rims to see how they look set up by mine im guessing the smaller rim made the tire ballon more and sit a little wider and lower than the 17 as there was more side wall so im thinking with a wider rim and a smaller rim it will end up makeing the tire closer to a 32 in true height as the 31s on the rear on my 15 x 10.5 end up being 30s and the 265 75 s on the front ended up being 29.5s thats with about 7000 - 10000 miles on the fronts and 1000 - 2000 on the rear tires
  4. Went trail riding Saturday before I put the lift In that's as much flex as i get on the trails I know and I found sum mud Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  5. so as i am broke haha i have a job but between gas student loan car loan and a credit card and the erge to do random mods on a impulse to the pathfinder im almost always broke but im going to do what 01silverpathy did but do a peice of metal were the radiator is but as stioc said about cooling it got me thinking about it so should i look for a vent to put in so that i dont get my radiator coverd in mud when trail riding or should i just get holes cut in themetal
  6. Could you do a more detailed walkthrough on this as I will be doing this soon Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  7. All in and I no longer rub with the 31s but I tried to put a pair of 33s under it today that my friend has and that's a no go so I'm stuck with 32s for now Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  8. Got one side of the front lift in and fighting with the lower camber bolt once that's out it will go smooth Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  9. with the spectra parts at autozone you can make one easy
  10. so just to let you know i went with the thrush turbo im happy with it because my old one was so quiet that at idle i couldent here the exhaust standing at the back of my pathfinder now i can here it idle when im inside with the passenger rear window down and can here it when i drive with the windows up but its not over powering i could actually go with a more straight threw muffler like a flowmaster or mabey a glasspack im guessing my uncle has somthing else wrong with his exhaust last i knew he had a glass pack but mybey not now and thats why it sounds terrible
  11. i ordered my from jeff his email is jeffhoepker@charter.net his stuff is very good quality i paid 170 for 1.5 front spacers and 1.75 rear spacers and 2day shipping
  12. im guessing not to pinch them becauser if you drained them that would take forever to bleed them to work again
  13. ya its a pita when its only 37-45 deg out and you try and do this
  14. when cleaning the joint what should i use and i seen autozone has boots are those junk or would i be ok going with those do i change just the ripped boot (outside) or do i do both boots this is the one i was thinking http://www.autozone.com/autozone/parts/Dorman-CV-Boot-Kit/1997-Nissan-Datsun-Pathfinder-4WD/_/N-j9ffdZ6o1zt?itemIdentifier=491374_173042_3550_
  15. so i dont know how long the boot has been ripped as i got the pathfinder in august and didnt look at them is there anyway to clean them and will any boot do or is there a certain boot i should get and how do i "rebuild the stock one"
  16. so iv been looking around and obviously rockauto has the cheapest ones but im not sure about the quality of the brands there so im between whats there and the ones at 4x4parts.com since all of there stuff its good quality or better than stock what do you guys think?
  17. mine does the same thing and i haven't found anything wrong with mine and all my fluids are full so i think it might be something with how Nissan has them set up mines a 97 so it will probably be different
  18. i wont be wheeling till next spring as most of the places i wheel get shutdown/ inaccessible during the winter months and the boot is already ripped with no lift
  19. have any pics of it form the side? i like the look from the front and its much cheaper than the ones meant for the pathfinder so i may look into this but need to know how it looks from the side
  20. i dont have manual hubs and when im not in 4wd there no noise and the only time there is noise when im in 4wd is if i hit a bump or drop off something more than 5-6" and its a clunk like not a bang or a knock its literately a clunk so i think my ball joints or something in there needs replacing also (personally i think the hole front end suspension and steering /drive have to replaced) the previous owners only fixed stuff when it stopped them from driving but they did have a detailed like the date how many miles and everything from a shop near where they live and the changed the oil every 2- 3000 miles
  21. so yesterday i started to tear apart my pathfinder to put my lift in and noticed my driver side cv boot was ripped but the passenger side is ok i plan on doing my struts next spring so im going to try and make it threw this winter with the cv boot ripped i might duct tape it since it will only be driven on the roads this winter and wont see any crazy angles or anything past maybe alil 4wd to get out of the drive way if this winter is like the past couple it wont ever be put into 4wd. so if it makes it threw this winter or if it ends up breaking should i replace both sides or just the driver side and when i do my cv shaft/struts should i change my tierods?
  22. im not complaining i was just wondering if it was something normal or if it was modified/ built with my old truck no matter were i was mud/grass/wet grass/pavement i could only get one tire to spin when i was in 2wd and that had the limited slip diff tag on the diff the pathfinder doesnt have that tag
  23. Earlier today I went down to my gmas house and she has a mini ditch going down one side of her yard and I backed into it and slowly steped on it and both tires spun and I got all the way down to maybe 2-3 mph and still both spun so I even stopped them and started again very slow and both still spun so I put a board under one and it spun the one but also backed out with no problem so I thought my eu I put it on the dominate tire so I did it to the other side and same thing happened but I only got to maybe 10 mph till the tire caught the would then it slowed down to maybe 3-4 but the other tire didn't spin faster or slower ( on both tries) Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
  24. Well I like it so maybe when I break something I can't repair my self ill have shop look at it Sent from my iPod touch using Tapatalk
