  1. I have some problem areas on my truck, namely under the rear door and behind the side mirrors. It looks pretty bad, I'm not sure what I should do about it, because the truck is in great shape otherwise. What do you think?
  2. those tires look great! Your truck is clean man.. is it an LE platinum? what color is the interior? I'm looking forward to the lifted pics. Are you thinking about adding manual hubs? I have the same wheels as you and I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna make them work.
  3. how much for the warn hubs shipped to canada?
  4. Mine has rusting in the exact same spot. I also thought it seemed like a strange place for rust to start.
  5. I did the kill switch too - I love it, because I rarely need the extra signal height anyway... but when I do I flick the switch and up she goes!
  6. That looks like it. Thank you very much!
  7. My belt tensioner bracket is bent down at the fork, making it impossible to get the belt tight enough. This resulted from my own buffoonery (tightening the belt with an impact wrench). Now when I try to turn the tightening bolt it slips off the fork! It looks like I can replace this bracket, can anyone help me find the part number? An illustration to help my poor description: Thanks!
  8. I guess the only way to find out is to get in there and look.
  9. Went for a drive tonight and the window went right up for me and now works normally. So strange... maybe a power wire from the motor is loose?
  10. Damn, no multimeter. Should I just go ahead and buy a new motor?
  11. Thats a bummer, how can I test the motor to verify if that is the problem?
  12. This happened about a month ago, and fixed itself after a few hours. But this time it's more persistent. My passenger window was all the way down yesterday, and when I tried to put it back up I hear a click sound coming from that door both when i press the up button, and also when I release it, but the window doesnt move. Same thing happens when I try the switch on that door, or the master switch on the driver door. All other windows work fine. I have 2 questions here, what is my most likely culprit and how can I test it, and is there a way to manually roll up my window, cause it's supposed to rain tomorrow and I can only park outside I'm not worried about taking off the door panel since I've done that before on other cars. But messing with power window stuff is new to me.
  13. I got my brush guard from carid.com, I love the way it looks but I mainly got it because I do alot of highway driving at night. Deer strikes are quite common around here. I think I should have went all the way though and got a proper steel arb bumper with built in grill guard like I see on some people here's pathy's. Those things look tough!!
