  1. All good, You will find allot of helpful people on this forum
  2. I couldnt show you the code because it keeps coming up with an image but it looks something like this IMAGE LINK GOES HERE except on the last img part you put a / between the I and the [
  3. I usually just copy the image url without the tags and press the "Image" button in the post section and copy the url there. But seeing as your using photobucket you can also click on "IMG code" and paste it directly into your post and the image will appear once you post it but not in the post box unless you click "Preview Post". So like this"http://i1167.photobu......2011134.jpg" but without the quotation marks(I had to remove the "/" at the end of the image code so it actually shows you the code) and you get an image like this.
  4. Yup it smells like fuel. Does it have to be nissan or can it be a brand like Standard Motor Products
  5. Ok so I have an 89 v6 which had a missfire. I know it had a missfire because it was idling really rough and it had that typical "noise" that engines with a missfire make.I changed all the plugs and it looks like it kinda fixed the problem. By that i mean when I started it up after the plug change it idled much better but still sounded abit rough/beasty. Now I do have a hole in my muffler and according the the previous owner one of the owners before him installed aftermarket cams. With that being said I have never actually herd it run properly. I bought it with a known missfire but it has been sitting in the garage for a while as i hadnt had the time to look at it. Also when its running its really smokey (mostley white maybe a slight blue?). The engine was previously flooded from being cranked to long also i can smell fuel on the dipstick. I check the codes and i got a 13(CTS) and when its running it gets the dashlight in the picture below, Is that a CEL?. The reason I think somethings wrong is because it sounds nothing compared to the pathfinders I have heard on video if anything it sounds abit like a cammed v8? and its really smokey. Also it somes has a miss in idle. When its not missing in idle if i nudge the throttle it does rev like a normal engine would but im scared to rev it because its really smokey and dont want to cause any damage. I cant really do an oil change till i get it on a level surface. To get it on a level surface i want it to run without missing then I can put it in reverse and it will go further up the driveway onto a level surface. Right now it is on a slight incline nose down. I also changed the fuel filter and that helped dramatically with starting.
  6. Nah its still not on the road either. The guy i bought it from had it just to use in his backyard and it has been that way for a few years so before i register it im going to do some preventative maintenance work on it like timing belt, all fluids and filters, sparkplugs and boots, bushings etc.
  7. A pretty much stock 89 terrrano. You?
  8. Nah the point was to show that they are compatible. If you find one on a navara for a good price just grab it.
  9. Taken from the 4wdaction "Show us your pathfinder" topic
  10. It looks allot like the 86/87 hardbody 4x4 grill except with a thicker section to house those lamps.
  11. (3 years later) "Ok, So i finally got around to installing my tint" JK. But yeh as mentioned before have a look at afew youtube videos they might cover something you don't already know. Here are two videos on how to do it. (If you have a factory one on) and
  12. After checking on ebay for hardbody hid kits some say the housing is 7x6 and some say its 4x6? I would like to change my grille to a harbody style one later with a hid kit but I thought that they all use the same housing?
  13. I'm thinking i may go that route. Yeh i just found the topic now after doing a quick search but thanks for bringing it to light.
  14. I have a drill but no tapping hardware. Would a distributor from a mpfi vg30e work on my vg30i?
  15. Okay so I was in the process of removing the distributor cap on my 89 terrano vg30i when the screw head stripped. The head was still there but the phillips head part was stripped so I used vice grips to loosen the screws. Not long after the screw head snapped off and that leaves me where I am now. One of them broke flush with the housing and the other left a stud. Is it even worth trying to extract the screws as it seems that the threads are rusted through. How would I go about extracting them as they are very small. Or should i just get a replacement from the wreckers?
  16. Can you remove the panel with the door closed?
  17. Yeh I cant pull up on the lock either, It binds up on something.
  18. Its closed and locked. When it did work there was no binding when opening or closing the door.
  19. How do you open a door that's stuck? My passenger side door wont unlock with the key or the central locking?
  20. They must have made a mistake in the title, If you scroll down you will see And in the nissan catalog it comes under wd21 and says its for the vg30et engine. Even though the wd21 didn't come with the vg30et?
