  1. Well, first of all, your truck looks great. Problem I'm having is I can't see how even a 265/70/16 will fit let alone a 265/75/16 (Looking at a Duratrac). I don't see a lot of wheels like your saround (these are exactly what I have). I have 245/75/16 right now, and it looks like about 3/4" more room! and my Baja ATZ are wore! Anyway, if you think it'll fit, I am going to try! I am thinking of going w/ the 2" strut spacers up front, and new coils for the rear. I think your truck looks just like what I want. Thanks fro your help. I'm in New Brunswick by the way!
  2. Love your truck. I got an 04 Chilkoot... I have decided against the AC, looking at either the EMU wth the HD/MED combo or the IronMan. The tires I was looking at are 265/75/16 duratracs, look to be just a hair taller than yours, assuming yours are 275/70/16? I just assumed that was a 16" wheel, or is it 17? I want to keep my stocker wheels, I think they are 3.75" BS (big fat wide 5 spoke ugly ones haha). I'm going to assume if I keep them, I'll need the 1.5" spacers? So with these lifts, the proper backspacing brings the tires out far enough form the stut that the side of the tire now runs beside the strut cup / beside front spring?? Thanks for the help. Any major issues in swapping springs that would be a tip to watch out for?
  3. Old thread here, but those are the same wheels I have on my 04. What size tires do you have, and did you need the 1.5" wheel spacers? From what I see, EMU or AC neither is going to change the cup on the strut distance from the wheel, only thing to cure that is spacers? Mediums look good. I don't need the 2" AC is going to give me anyway. The tow truck look might be good for towing my trailer anyway... give a little extra in the rear. Thanks for responding even though this is old.
  4. You will hear a lot of bashing goodyear, and the wrangler name, these are not the stock AT/S jeeps and f150s come with.. These are a far more capable tire than the utility companies E350 is wearing. I Have these on my F150, and on my pathfinder. I was a BFG AT KO Man until I found these. Far better in the snow, ice and mud. BFG's fill up way too easy in snow and mud. BFG's are pretty good at nothing. Duratracs are good at everything. The only feather in the BFG AT KO hat i will give them is the 20k kms more they wear. I got 80k kms out of my duratracs on my F150.. not sure how they will go on the R50... only had em on for about 15k kms.
  5. OK, question period. My 04 the fender at the back measures about .5" lower than the front. What I Was thinking was coil spacers for the rear (2") but can't find them anywhere. Would the Ironman coil springs (or AC), stock shocks, and a 1" strut spacer in the front make a good look? From Innovazn post on the lifts available he states new shocks are not required? I, as many, don't have a lot of money to throw at this project, but want some lift so this thing doesn't look like a van. I'm going to stick with my 245/75/16 duratracs unless 1.5" wheel spacers will let me fit the 265/75/16 on stock wheels.
