  1. Try here. http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/topic/32682-p1135p1110/ I would think if you were leaking badly, that low oil may cause codes....hopefully someone more experienced will chime in.
  2. It's been a year and things are finally ramping up again for the PathGrinder!!! © I bought a house in July and have been busy remodelling. I haven't even had time to get the garage together... Everything is still together and as I've left it. She's turned into a tow rig....towing a trailer to Lowe's and back. Going to get started on the onboard air as my next project. I haven't even made it offroading since I moved. All in good time.
  3. Yep. Once charged it sits at 13V and if I drive it more than once a month it will stay charged. On that note....what is the popular upgraded alt?
  4. Bought a house. House hunting takes alot of time in this market. Stable now and things are looking great! Going to be troubleshooting electrical. Battery dies...both...if I don't drive ot for a week. That's for another thread though.
  5. They do a lot of things with low gear oil. Locking up is one of 'em.
  6. I want to build a rear bumper and reinforce the tire. I also want to add a jerry can or two. I plan to rig a new sensor anyhow...or test the old one. Thanks for the info!
  7. Update after returning from a hiatus: My "door open" light comes on at takeoff. I think the weight of the tire is taking it's toll. I'm looking for good ideas for a rear bumper fabrication this summer. I bought a house, so once the garage is in working order the Pathy will return to active status!
  8. When I bought mine, the front bumper was on. He said he rear-ended someone and talked to his insurance company. He said the aftermarket was cheaper than repairing factory, so they paid for the aftermarket bumper.
  9. From Andrew at Krypton Fabs: In the rear you will want the 5.5" lift springs from a wj jeep. Iron rock offroad carries these. These will mount with our regular wj adapters. For shocks in the rear, you will want a set of rear 2000 f350 2wd shocks. If your pathfinder is a 99+ (newer body style), you will want the same application but specifically a monotube type shock. I went with the stock KYBs at the time. I plan to upgrade to air-adjustable, eventually.
  10. You probably have your answer by now. I am back, from hiatus. Check my sig for details.
  11. FYI: Thought I would update....5 months later and I have a drip again. Maybe because I don't drive it enough... I'm going to get a quote...I'm in a condo complex and no longer have a full garage to drop the tranny, so I have no other option. What did you end up doing for your leak? I've seen threads of $600-$2000. Still cheaper than a car payment.
  12. So, after the front camera died on my first trip out....I did some research. You have to buy a camera that is specifically designed for front camera usage, or the video will be mirrored. Just ordered this one as a replacement. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004V9G8QQ/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  13. These don't usually show up used...at least I've never seen 'em. Sometimes the 2" lifts do. Sometimes the entire rig.
  14. Yep. I plan to do similar to what the guy in this thread does. http://forum.ih8mud.com/tx-alamo-city-land-cruisers/671329-led-rock-lights.html I'm also considering getting more and modding my interior lights.
  15. And yes...I know that rotating the camera won't work...I drank a few beers while installing. Not sure if there is a way to permanently reverse the video for the front camera or if I will have to live with it being backward.....? I'm guessing it's in the screens software, so I will probably have to live with remembering to reverse the front camera.
  16. Do not buy the front camera, that I have linked. It crapped the first time I took it off-roading. Video that I posted in my thread.
  17. I ran through the stock hole for lighting. I used some electrical tape and liquid electrical tape to take place of the existing grommet.
  18. ^ That's what I did. I have a similar setup to CNAM.
  19. Thanks! It's slow and steady...mostly slow. The leds are bright enough.
  20. Put it in and ABS light is still on. Brakes feel better. Will the ABS light reset automatically, or do I need to pull the battery cable to see if the repair was successful? Hooked up backwards, I might have damaged something or blew a fuse?
  21. That will stop it from slapping, flopping, and scratching up the paint. hahah!
  22. I'm heading out to Anza Borrego Park again! Looks like Feb 21-23. I'm taking my kiddos this time, so probably won't run The Slot....or have them walk down...not certain. We plan to hit the mudcaves and do some sight seeing. Depending on company, we may venture over to BLM land and exercise our 2nd Amendment rights. Just thought I'd throw it out there in case anyone was interested in wheeling that weekend. We plan to camp at Blair Valley again...depending on who comes with what we will decide on whether to move camp the next day or stay there. Give a holler if anyone is interested.
  23. Links are in my profile...and a pic with 33s.
  24. My next project has arrived! $18 shipped on Ebay. Night time illumination!
