  1. Love it!!! Doubt mine will ever get up here, but then again it is a stock r50! Good stuff OSR! Good stuff! A lot like I wanted my 94 to look like...
  2. Thanks everyone! It is good to be back. Good to see the familiar faces, and some new ones too. I know I will find some great info, and hopefully give some too!
  3. Hello all, I used to be 94Pathyman, so I guess I am not necessarily new! I haven't been on in so long, I figured it would be a good idea to say "Hi" again in this forum! I got a different ride now, an R50, 01 QX4, and I love it. I am going to be selling my 94 Pathy, so if you are interested, I will be making a separate post for that. Other than that guys, just wanted to say hi, and let you know I am back! Hope I can help contribute a little bit again, since it has been probably a year or more since I have gotten on here. So much catching up to do, so little time...LOL! Anyway y'all, feel free to hit me up, I will be getting pics and everything on here of my new ride as soon as I can. Thanks again for this wonderful forum!
  4. Like already said, "DUAL" exhausts are better for a V-8 or highly modified V-6's. With the little amount of power that the 3.0 puts out, or even the 3.3 for that matter, just a 2" with a high flow cat, headers, and a reputable muffler...i.e. flowmaster, magnaflow, borla, etc...I think it would perform better. As already stated, you need to maximize flow, not sound to gain power. You could put a 3" pipe on there and it would sound cool, but perform like crap. So just remember, bigger doesn't always mean better, it is how you use it! LOL!
  5. How do you run a full size R&P? Is there a write up somewhere? That would be a cool setup!
  6. also try and put some dielectric grease on your maf and the tps connectors
  7. Well being a mechanic I would say tell him the background but between the one and two o'clock position should suffice. There is some adjustment room to fine tune so nothing too scary to think about. They should be able to crank the engine over to number one anyway and get it done that way anyway...hope that helps!
  8. Do you have a gas smell inside and outside the car? If so it could be your Evap canister. Have you had your injectors checked? MAF? O2 sensor? Fuel filter? Those are all that come to mind at the moment.
  9. Wishing I had a genie to grant me one wish, to get my dang pathy finally lifted

  10. Have you ever tried to tighten your tuners? Maybe you need to try re-stringing it and use some nut lube too. It works great.
  11. I have been playing for like 10 years now, but haven't really progressed for about four years now since I have been working non stop. I used to have 3 electrics, now 2, sold the ibanez, but I still got the 84 squire bullet, and the cheap epiphone special 2, and got my dad's 36 year old yamaha acoustic. I have tuned them all up and even replaced the truss rod on the squire. Love it, wish I had someone around who actually pushed me to play more.
  12. Right on man, I agree with the area, good wheeling. If you are ever in the area, let me know man, I live in Denver so I could always go for a trail ride or something on a weekend with ya! Glad to see you got your pathy back, hope you are enjoying it.
  13. X2, also check to see if your sway bar may be a factor, had a car once that I had to change over the linkage and it then sat level. Just a thought!
  14. I did what UNCC did. I took an old Chevy hub socket with the four tabs and ground two off and ground the other two to fit the holes. Works like a champ!
  15. X2 on that. To clean a dirty or clogged cat, get some white gas, or mineral spirits, and let it sit inside and swish it around. Worked wonders on my civic's cat till I put a high flow on. Other than that, Watch out man, shops can do some funky stuff. Check your evap canister and see if it is now clogged. I bet they forgot to hook something up, or put your distributor back in a tooth off or something. Either way, check those out, and also make sure they got the TPS nice and tight and plugged in, I did that on mine! Try those things, hope it works out for ya!
  16. Not hating, but he's got a point. Either way, cool stuff man, I did stuff like that in an 84 Honda Accord, and trust me, plenty of ground clearance to get through that with it, I went to some crazy places with it. Either way man, go find something that makes you say, I don't know, and then do it, it will blow your mind!
  17. I would like to put it on the left of the brake pedal, old pedal style E-brake. Now that I like, so you don't see it and it remains functional. Either that or electronic, that would be B*tchin!
  18. blue smoke typically means oil, but I have seen it being a bad mixture also, but I would start by watching your oil consumption, but for the idle area, I would say check cap, rotor, wires, plugs, then move the IAC solenoid, TPS, MAF, or fuel filter sometimes does that crap to the idle, but if you are missing like crazy revving and you got blue smoke, I am guessing somewhere you might have some oil getting into the chamber, but I could be wrong, lets hope so!
  19. Just take it off, and make sure all wires and hoses don't go near it, unless you have headers, they are pretty much useless, which with headers, who cares let them show. Either way, when mine break, they are off for sure. Can someone say "Scrap Metal"?
  20. My personal opinion is on trucks, OWL out, cars, white wall, unless vintage, in. But I am a little old school, even though I am only 26, still like them out. I have had them both ways on my pathy, and I think it looks better out, but your opinion is the only one that matters here anyway!
  21. Glad you will be getting your truck. I am a newer member and have to say Thank you so very much for this site. It has helped me to fix my pathy and come up with some great ideas. I hope you get your ride with as little wrong as possible! Hope you enjoy it as much as you used to!

  22. Glad I could help out a little for that...Man I got to give it to him, he has had a hell of a time, glad I could help bring some heaven back to him. Let me know if there is anything else I can do!!!
  23. A/C condensor, not so hard, compressor and clearing the metal out, little different. Most people just take compressed air and shoot it through the lines, but you got to remember to do the receiver dryer too, so if you want to save money, find a way to do it yourself, but if you can't/don't have the tools/equipment, of course pay someone else, but shop around. Unless you live in BFE, you should be able to haggle with a bunch of mechanics who will try to all underbid eachother if you come in with one of their quotes. Easy as pie that way, just a lot of hot driving...LOL!
  24. mine did that crap, check those little clip connections on the positive side. Mine corroded through on one of the, the green connector I think, maybe there are multiple green ones, but those things are a corrosion heaven so check there too. Also, then see if you can wiggle the wires individually, while running, to see if it is just one or the whole mess. Good luck, mine took ten minutes to fix once I found it.
