  1. MPGs are good too, took a hit with my 32s. What kind of improvement did you see?
  2. Been considering doing this but looking for input on whether or not it is worth it. If I see any power gains it would be worth it, already have cold air intake, looking for mo' power. Also how much should it run me here in So. cal?
  3. I think so, out of town until next weekend when Ill put the parts in, Ill let you guys know if Im missing anything. Thanks for the offers.
  4. I'll pay shipping and throw in a few bucks for your trouble. Kidscollegefund @ yahoo.com
  5. Living in the Republic of Kalifornia, I need to swap back my cold air intake to stock configuration in order to pass emissions testing but I think I scrapped those parts. Anyone have a set for a 96-2000 pathy they are not using? Let me know...
  6. Another vote for Geolander ATs, great tires though my next ones are probably going to be Firestone Destination MTs.
  7. Going from my stock '98 suspension to OME/KYB gave me 1.75 all around with the HD/MD combo . Love it. It did settle a bit.
  8. Fisker Karma http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2012-fisker-karma-first-drive
  9. Put a yellow top in my '98 a couple weeks ago, comes with height spacer, fits just fine. D34/78.
  10. Like butta. Firm butta. HDs up front (wanted level stance, have some weight up front), MDs in back. KYB all around. Best way to describe it is firm and deliberate..or awesome.
  11. 185 k on my '98 SE. Just did a bunch of service so it is all set for the next 100k Runs like a champ.
  12. I too started looking for a 4Runner or a Jeep. Got way more for my buck with my SE...I'll get another R50 if this one ever dies.
  13. HD Front MD Rear KYB GR2 Struts KYB Gas Adjust Rear No spacers 2" lift over 180k stock suspension 31x10.5x15s Rides stiffer, more truck like, no rubbing. Very happy.
  14. Had my '98 transmission flushed and filled a couple of weeks ago. Certainly notice trans is quieter and shifts smoother. 180k miles, figured it was due.
  15. "10,000"?!??! That better include a new Pathfinder with that transmission.
  16. Cut a peice of 1/2 square black electrical tape to cover my SES/CEL light, damn tired of seeing that thing.
  17. They said all tensioners, pulleys and hoses looked good. Got the 325/1444 CEL codes to deal with next, any suggestions on where to get a deal on a charcoal filter?
  18. I replaced the A-pilar tweeters with some Infinity ones I have had in the garage for years. WOW what a difference, don't think the OEM ones were even working. Took about 10 minutes per side, super easy. I should have done this when I first got it.
  19. So had the timing, serpentine belts changed, coolant flushed, new pump and thermostat done this week, $630 California dollars at my local shop. I'll feel much better taking her off road now.
  20. The guard is made by Aires, those supports actually go through the bumper and ties back to the bolts that hold the radiator to the frame. D-shackles are through 3/8" worth of steel brackets at the OEM tie points, I wouldn't tow the truck from them but certainly work for pulling me out of trouble.
  21. Thinking of doing this as my next project, current equipment is rusting pretty good. Did you notice any performance gains? Any difference in sound over original system?
  22. Thanks, ordered two, easier/cheaper than spending time at a junk yard.
