      I have one, got it while on a big sale and used a 25% off coupon, so it was really cheap. But I have never used it. I've not even assembled it yet. Timing of the sale was off, picked it up after I returned a rental lol

      i got a coupon for the 1 ton for 99. i had rerad reviews on it so i was a little sketched out.. but it assembled fine and wasnt missing any hardware! and today my engine stand came in! already assembled! gonna be a good week!

  4. ok, lunch break came around and i went to press in them uca bushings. all in place to find out that the thread on one of the spindles got just a little chewed... so now i actually have to have my '94 out of commission for a bit while i get that spindle of and use it. good thing everything is walking distance!
  5. today... Before work i pulled the U.C.A's off the 95 and for my lunch break press in the new bushings! after work get to swap em out and mock up new bushing cups for the compression rods.

  8. i too used the stock brackets and screws for that matter. even the after market double size have the same mounting. you just wouldnt need the sleeve that comes with them. the brackets line up with the screw holes on the deck. pretty simple. if your going aftermarket anyway..
  9. drove it to work today. but yesterday (day off) i completed a decent check list! 1.) all new steering components. (TRE's, center link, ball joints and dampener) 2.) oil change. 3.) tire rotation. 4.) hardwired a stereo and speakers. 5.) cleaned it! 6.) mocked up my highlift jack mounts! 7.) swapped front door panels from the '95 8.) swapped the starter from the '95 as well. yeah, it was a good day!

  11. in the past week i've purchased a 95 xe for 300 bucks! amazing body and a recently rebuilt tranny and t-case! yeah, this weekend should be fun... off work just to work harder...

      just to swap the tranny and t-case,rear diff and a few interior pieces. but weather has been less then desirable being how i dont have a useable garage.. so to be continued!

  14. Did you have to put a new cup on both sides? (F&R) or only on the front?

      Whatever floats your boat brother! I welded up the front and rear diffs on an S10 and it would go anywhere I was silly enough to go... although it chirped quite a bit around corners...

      so far i have only really felt it when parking or doing slow speed turns on pavement.

      Yep, dont worry about it too much...if your hard on it while on pavement it will probably bind and tear up...

  18. hey dude, your pathy looks really nice and is REAL close to the dream for mine. could you by chance throw a list of mods together? real basic, like lift(s), tire size and how you made your bumper. really nice pathy. if i knew you i would skae your hand!

  19. I just came back from the shop and im told that my oil leak is coming from the crank case. Any one else ever have this problem? How much do you think its gonna cost to get fixed?
  20. ok so its been a long time since i posted something but this thread caught my eye. i know its not the greatest job you have ever seen but it does make a noticable difference in mpg and sound. yes i love hose clamps! but just posting to give another idea for someone looking to do so.[/img][/img]i have a heat shield for it but this was before i did
