  1. good suggestions for everyone now about your other question,LOL "Now, can someone tell me the largest tires I can fit on my stock rig? " you can fit 44's just take the fenders off!! LOL
  2. never saw anything like that, it could have been the original dealer had a package put together (like aftermarket parts or cosmetic things) and only made a certain number and put each truck number on a decal
  3. I'm keeping all the paper copy manuals I have, I've found that once you get rid of something like that later on you need it.
  4. if you have to replace the starter I would recommend a new one from the dealer ( if they even sell new ones anymore) or find one made by Beck Arnley, any extra money it costs you will make up for having to replace an inferior rebuilt one multiple times.
  5. is this the EGR temp sensor plug? If so I just noticed on mine the connector is cracked:
  6. checked the codes few minutes ago, getting #35, egr temp sensor, haven't done any troubleshooting yet just wanted to know if this may be why truck smells like it is running rich? thanks
  7. It has it, wa sunder truck few minuts ago and it is there, it's so dirty I missed it!! thanks
  8. or if you wanted the hummer look tires?? LOL
  9. I would agree highly with using the regular NGK plugs, the Nissan's seem to run best on them, also I always recommend using the factory wires if possible, My Sentra was having a problem stumbling off the line, it had fairly new aftermarket wires on it, bought a set of factory wires and the stumble went away. The knock sensor can make a huge difference, on the Infiniti Q45 we used to have it ran so bad you couldn't even power brake it and break the tires loose, it was a dog, had to replace the fuel pump and that helped a little but after replacing the 2 knock sensors the car felt like a 4 door corvette!! What a difference.
  10. Is the pathfinder supposed to have a skid plate on the transfer case? I don't recall seeing one on my 94 but I know my 87 Hardbody had it ??
  11. ok, thanks for the explanation
  12. I wrapped the wires the same way the old bulb came out, the 2 wires and the bulb in the big hole, each wire has it's own hole under the bulb, than run one wire back up towards the top of the bulb than back down again, than I cut off the excess wire, repeat for other wire, done
  13. is it a stud that broke or an allen head bolt?
  14. in the shock switch the rubber part is the mount for the bulb it has nothing to do with being a filter, pic below: 12V Microlamps (2-Pack) Model: 272-1092 | Catalog #: 272-1092 $1.79
  15. thanks, picked up the 2 pack of bulbs yesterday after work, $1.79 plus tax, swapped the bulb today, it was the exact same size, works perfect now, one less thing to do on the pathfinder now.
  16. some auto part stores offer a AC bypass pulley, but if the AC compressor is the only thing on that particular belt than you can either remove that belt or take the compressor out completely. Just noticed you have a 99 pathfinder, a manual I just checked shows the AC compressor belt has a tension pulley and that's it, so you would be able to just remove the belt, or the AC compressor and the tension pulley if you want it completely out
  17. I'm not looking to sell any of them, if you want one of them I'll send you a copy, they are all in pdf. files unless noted
  18. the 2 stage bars I had in my 87 worked very well in fact one time 4 wheeling the whole pass. side front fell, I though the torsion bar broke, turned out I split the lower control arm where the bar mounts, the only thing stopping the front end from dropping all the way was the secondary adjuster on the torsion bar.
  19. yeah but the good thing about it is, once you take the VH45De intake and stuff apart and put it back correctly you can do pretty much anything!
  20. you can buy the compressor with the clutch or without it, I would get one with the clutch that way you don't have to mess with it.Most auto part stores require you to replace the accumulator/drier at the same time as the compressor or they won't warranty the compressor. My tech told me the aftermarket rebuilt compressors suck and are only good for about a year, so far he has been right as in my Sentra I have replaced it 2 years in a row so far and it is making noise again, but now the auto parts store won't replace it. Here is a good site that sells all the AC parts you may need, they are usually a little cheaper than the auto part stores: this should take you right to the 97 pathfinder page http://www.ackits.com/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=01&Category_Code=Nissan97Pathfinder_3-3 in comparison on my local auto parts page the compressor goes for $314
  21. Ok, and I verified it before I wrote the reply, except I looked in the truck FSM, that's my 15 year truck background showing for ya
  22. try to replace the knock sensors on the VH45DE with out taking it apart !! intake plenum removed knock sensors in engine valley with coolant crossover pipe removed
  23. damn I 'm good !! and I can spell too (from other thread), LOL
  24. got real good at getting the starter out though, unbolt, move forward, flip over, remove, body lift helps!!
