Yeah for $300 I'd snag that sucker. But just reading off the list of parts you can take off the 92(including engine), what would be left? LOL. It almost seems like it'd be easier to go the other way? You can make more than $300 in just the parts you listed off! So what are you waiting for?

Damn those are cheap...almost TOO cheap... I think thats more of a test of braking power and ability...the best way to experience brake fade IMO is to try working your brakes hard over an extended period of time...like a 2 mile steep decent. On stock rotors, the gas builds up between the rotor and pad thus creating the "fade." The gases and heat from the rotors/pads dissapate via the holes on the CD rotors. But the seller is selling those PBR Metal Master brake pads I was talking about...its in that picture with the steel lines and pads. Those brakes rock. Semi-metallic...

Yeah, thats the biggest noticeable difference was no brake fade. I was really easy on them the first 500 miles though to break them in evenly. $200 with the pads shipped is a good deal IMO. Those rotors are HEAVY! I see those pads still on Ebay and I have been happy with them so I'm going to go with them again. The seller recommended the pads to me and told me to stay away from the ceramics with the Brembo's.

Dan, I got the CD Brembos off Ebay about 2 years ago. The seller was selling tons of them and had a deal on them. I can't remember the exact price but I remember them being in the $200 range including a set of PBR Metal master pads. I'm due for a pad change however as my brakes have started squealing. Any difference in braking? Night and day! Going from ceramic pads and oem rotors, you can really notice a difference. Primarily, the absence of brake fade. On steep decents, where you are really working your brakes, pretty much riding them, they perform AWESOME. :bow: The braking power is incredible especially when having to make a quick high speed sudden stop like when someone runs a red light or stop sign... sly

My Brembo cross drilled rotors for my pathy didn't seem warped off the shelf. I've had them for 2 years now and they've been incredible since day 1.

Yes the top of the roof is the best place to put it. You want something thats central so as to act as the ground plane for the antenna. But for my purpose, I can't have something that high up sticking up from my roof. My 3 foot Firestik barely hits certain parts of the roof of my parking garage at work.

Tell your friend to save his money...they're useless on a multi-port injected vehicle. Carb or throttle body injected vehicles can benefit from them.

The clearance is fine. Those mounts are called "Hood Channel" mounts and they are thin enough to fit just fine. Its the Firestik MK174 mount.

I put my cb in the cubby hole underneath the radio, behind the shifter. I haven't mounted it secure but it stays put in there and doesn't move so thats how its been ever since. But here's a pic of the way I mounted my firestik II antenna.

Yes I agree...almost brings a tear to my eye. But seriously, I really do feel a sense of "comraderie" when it comes to us Pathy owners. I don't mind going out of my way to help a fellow pathy owner in need and I think alot of people here will agree. Good job you guys!

There's this one WD21 running around here thats bright yellow but with a custom hand-painted jungle theme that takes up the whole exterior complete with macaws. :o Its quite the sight...I'm going to have to snap some pics next time I see it!

If I'm thinking of the same ones, they only provide 5/8" drop. Thats barely a half inch...I guess every little bit helps. But I remember reading something on the AC board at least a year or two ago about it but can't exactly remember what was said...let me see if I can dig it up.

Yes I like that too ...but for me I have my Indiglo gauge inverter, wiring, switch/dimmer all stuffed in there.

You mean R50 not R51... That white R50 belongs to someone on this board...I forget.

It says A/T 3rd Signal...not sure what that means though...
