If I find a 5spd with ECU etc thats close to me, and for the right price, I might get it. For sure NOT keeping it stock I ordered lowering springs, and hopefully get some nice performance upgrades (intake, exhaust, ecu) I want a sleeper, not any of this ricer nonsense. I know a girl with a N/A 240 DOHC that the local performance shop tuned and its numbers meet and exceed a stock SR20DET. Mines wont be as much power, since its SOHC, but still good numbers. might get some nice 16"s, depends on ride height after new springs go in. yeah I think that color is gonna look really good. getting windows tinted, spruce up that paint on the rims. hopefully all done by summer (knock on wood)

1990 240sx coupe A/T 171000 kms (pretty low for one of these) 2.4L sohc Picked it up for $300 canadian from a guy down my street. He was driving to work (works for a construction company, they're widening the highway) and hit a patch of black ice going around a corner. Smashed into the concrete median going who knows what. damage: bumper, fenders, hood, headlights all need to be replaced. rad cracked and fan shroud in 6 different peices. I got all the parts I need for $350 CDN. plus I work at a bodyshop so I get the frame straightened and car painted for a case of beer. the interior was gross, I guess he had a drink in the cupholder while he crashed, mouldy seats, dash, carpet. never bothered to clean it either. I think I got it all tho. :oops: plans: new front end ordered lowering springs -1.8" f/b 2.5" exhaust hopefully a Jim Wolf cam tuned ECU Injen intake I have a 16" e-fan for it already 16" rims, nothing flashy, maybe meshies Paint= black except on really sunny day, then its dark blue metallic. really nice color, suits the car arg, I need to stop buying cars!!!! im 17 and I own 3 vehicles, pickup, SUV, car.

Id take a KA over the VG any day of the week. Any other thing than a nissan, I agree with you. Unless they know what they are doing and have forged pistons/turbo/performance cams etc.

pretty much the only lowered vehicles I like. Id say 17" wheels/tires are the maximum size, anything bigger looks stupid. Also, when you cant see the top of the tire, or the body is dragging on the ground, thats dumb and a waste of a vehicle.

The lock cylinder should technically be the same as the ignition then, right? worn the same i mean.

When my dad was tryin to put fender flares on his '93 hardbody wayyy back in 94 or 95, he bought ones from the dealer, went home and they didnt fit... so he went back and specified 2wd, and sure enough they fit like a charm.

When I bought my 91 Pathfinder, it came with 2 keys, both were not original. A couple days ago, my locks froze and while I was trying to unfreeze them, broke a key. No problem, except the backup key feels very stiff while turning the ignition and can barely open the outside locks, so I pretty much have to leave the pathy unlocked at all times, which I hate. Plus now, if this one breaks or I lose it or w/e, Im screwed. I took it to get copied, and the new copy does not work. i havent been back to the place where it was made (a real locksmith, not wal-mart or anything), but I was wondering if I could get a key directly from a Nissan dealer. Usually, there is a key number in the glove box, anyone know where it is on the 91 Pathfinder? thanks

Took the wheels off, cleaned them and sure enough a huge pile of dried mud was produced. No more shaking. On the way home for lunch today I took the same trail (since its on the way and its a shortcut) and it was pouring rain. My windshield wipers broke. Good thing this happened before, so I knew exactly what happened. The rod underneath the louvers/valiance came off and its only a matter of pooping it back on. The funny part is that it was raining even harder today and more muddy, and without wipers, i had to drive home with my window rolled down and head stickin' out, like ace ventura but add getting mud all over your face at home it was a quick fix and they are working again. I think the Pathy is gettin' even with me for all those times that i may have grinded gears, or did burnouts

I think this is one of the best looking cars of it's time. The only thing I am sad to see is that there isnt an RB26DETT hiding underneath, that would make it a true GT-R

It could probably smoke the americans "muscle" tuned or not. I think domestic are using too much of their muscle and making pretty bodystyles instead of using their brains and improving engines/turbos/etc. Domestic cars use old technology. The Imports are way ahead of domestics
