Same with my 03, it had 4.3 with LSD but now it has 4.6 with open diff. Hope to get a locker soon, hate not having my LSD but I needed the 4.6 gears for the tires I am running. I couldn't find any 4.6 gears here that had the LSD.

I plugged mine up with a screw about 60,000k ago, never had a problem yet.

I use 20W-50 non-synthetic, change every 3,000k. Using it for at least 110,000k and I don't burn oil unless I go over 3000k.

Never had that problem mate, I red-line frequently but I never burn oil unless I use the oil for longer than I should. I think this is more of a specific issue than a generalized VQ35 problem. I could just be lucky though and everyone else is burning oil.

This topic has been very entertaining, and that last video was great those Russians are Crazy! I too think snorkels are stupid (gay if you will) but I live in the desert and haven't done a water crossing in... Ever! If there was water here I probably would get one. If you don't like the look of a snorkel you can always just route your air filter right into the cabin, its the best of both worlds! It wont be noisy at all, and you could make it into a stylish place to rest your arm while you drive

I think you need at least 3.5" or 3.25" BS for 35" tires, Or yes you can use spacers or a combo of spacers and BS.

okay, you said they are 25" in the rear, I thought it was supposed to be 27" or 30" how long is the original break line?

So I am finally ordering a set of fox 2.0 Pro remote reservoir 11" travel shock for my SFD because all summer I have been riding on my OME shocks and topping out on every bump. So this means I need to get a longer break line for the rear and I don't know jack about break lines!!! Do I need a certain kind? are all break lines pretty much the same? can I order what I need online? and if so, where can I order them from? I didn't think I would need help with this but after talking to my mechanic it sounds like getting anything other than a stock break line out here will be... frustrating Thanks in advance for any helpful or insulting remarks heading my way! -Dan

I am not sure, I have what is basically 3.25" BS on front and back with my SFD. I am pretty sure my rears will not tuck under. I wish Micky Thomson made the same wheel with around 4" BS so I could put those on the rear. Anyway 33x12.5 is pretty big with only the AC lift I don't know if you will ever get those inside the wheel well. I would try to see if the backs fit with stock BS.

Hey I said before 3.75 should be fine, I think I wrong on that, I always get my BS numbers messed up. I think for a true 33x12.5 you will need a minimum of 3.5" BS.

I totally agree we make a very big issue of a pretty small problem but its one of the only mods that we can do to our trucks so we all want to talk about it... a lot! As for your issue, I will try to make it simple. Just put them on and start cutting! don't even get the lift, just cut until they fit you might want to go with a bigger tire though, maybe a 37" or a 40" 3.75 should be fine. P.S. This post may contain BAD advice, read with care.

That photo was from the day I got them and I ran them at their max pressure, now I run them at 30psi.

Here are mine. 33x12.5 R15 on a 8" rim with 3-5/16" BS. I have no problems and I am happy with the looks.

Wow, I would love to take you up on that, do you ship to the middle east Oh well I think I am now trying to do what I can to stiffen up the frame and body without the strut brace first. I am thinking about a 12mm aluminum skid plate staring just behind the transmission bracket, I could do some braces but I think a 12mm sheet of aluminum will brace just as well. If it was legal here I would just weld on some stiffener plates to the frame like people do with the Jeep Cherokee. Anyway I still haven done the missing like yet, that's the first step.

you can modify the break caliper easily to fit 15", at least that is what I have heard, I have 15" on my 03 and when I do change the break pads I will just grind of the little bit of the caliper that rubs.
