6.0l's are part pigs. How many miles are on it? Does it have a EGR still? Have the Heads been off yet? if so Head studs or Bolts? what kind of programer is it running? Ive been working on these for years, IMO the most solid truck money can buy. The engines are good if upgrade them properly. 05 means u have a Torque Shift trans so its more or less bullet proof. Treat it like a tbi maybe you will have better luck. Make sure u have iac and your injectors are spraying properly, perhaps give it a tune up and make sure your fuel filter flow is going the right way Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

you bet! i did the front crank seal in my 87 3l. while i had it apart i put new cam seals, water pump, timing belt and thermostat. this 07 that needs a timing chain replacement has around 180k, so just the timing kit and be done with it?

What else should be changed while i have it apart?
