  1. Hells ya! I have a money making plan. I will be pioneering a road construction service to cabbins along the Mackenzie River. In the past it hasent worked for the guys with full size gear on account they weigh to much. Big guys want at least 30inchs of ice and the pathfinder only needs like 20. Thats a 3 week head start on the other guys. Im fabin up my plow mounts today ill post pics this evening
  2. im building this on a 0$ budget ! Rustolium black and aluminum checker. Gotta love longweekends!
  3. I dont reconmend highway speed with them socks on, Put 100 octane gas with a little ATF in it
  4. Making aftermarket easier? Any Make,Brand or Duty of Shock absorber the correct length and mounts will bolt on? Opening the market to coil overs and taller shocks to compensate torsion cranking.
  5. Ya dude! Its all junk anyway..I have more throttle response , reeks like gas on cold starts. Remember to plug the EGR tube with something
  6. I have my egr tube pluged and the entire evap system out. Made a good spot for my spare battery!
  7. Im up in the high Arctic were its between -35C and -50C from october until april . All you need is a Belly Tarp, Block Heater, Oil pan heater, 5w-30 synthetic and a Synthetic GL-4 gearbox oil. Also a 1050 CCA battery helps, so half the time i don't need to plugin. All your troubles are because your not warming your Pathfinder up.
  8. Ok, i just ran out side and checked the slave cylinder, fluid all over the frames cross member, the rubber boot seems to be very loose, i put a hose clamp on it and bled the system, and when i manually pumped the cylinder the gf said theirs bubbels coming out of the resivour with every pump also i can hear a air intake sound.. This is all on the right hand side of the trans right above the most forward cross member possible the seals in the slave cylinder are shot?,
  9. hello, this morring i started the pathy let her warm up drove her to work. when i got off work their was no pressure on the clutch pedal!!. So i bled it, It will pump up to normal pressure but when i let it sit for a split second theirs no pressure? its my daylie driver and i need it to get to work tommrow.. please somebody help!! -scott ps. sorry for the spelling error's
  10. did it work?, whats to do after you have a clear lens? color'd bulbs?
  11. I absolutely agree with the Euro lights and the image the throw, but i was using it as a general style of aftermarket tails, so is it un hurd of? also are there any other things that i can take from other makes and models that will bolt right in? thanks, -scott
  12. is their any were to get euro lights for the finders?, Ive gave up lookin for em on the internet?, do they exist?
  13. Hello, I've been doing some shopping around for my Pathy and was wondering what will bolt on to it?, I know all 1/4 & 1/2 ton GM rims bolt nicely. but were can i scam seats from? and will HB tail lights fit on it?.. if any one else has suggestions or facts on the matter that would be great. thanks -scott
  14. I was browsing the Internet for Pathfinder Parts and came across A 300ZX site and did A bit of reading up on em, I noticed the 89-96 300zx's had V6 VG30DETT T+T motors.. Would the mounts for a VG30I be in the same spot (VG30)? Or am I wasting my time? Heres a Link to the Site were the potential Twin Turbo Heart would come from. http://www.streetimports.com/product_details.asp?id=977
  15. hey, thanks for all the reply's , not much time for computers sadly.. but earlier this week i dug my pathy out of Snow Drift Tomb on a very mild day..lol she's been sitting for a couple months at around minus 35 in a snow drift no less, Not in the wear house were i left her  20 mins of Shoveling go buy, i get into the cab, pop the hood the battery is'nt swollen tons of oil in the pan Go to turn it over, 2 turns.. no dice, 20 min on the batt charger.. she fires with half a turn then it started to idle really funny in between 1500 and 2000 rpm, vacuume leak any way, i let it warm up, temp and oil pressure gauge working fine, i go to put it into reverse the clutch is really slipping bad in her, slap it into low range i backs out with having to redline to get the power to the wheels, any way, i have it out of the snow drift -bounce- , and i have also got together a D40 Front axle witch i have to rebuild out also i found some leaf springs kicking around out of a 71 for f250 will they work? but then after reading these post's it got me to thinking, to hell with it, ill keep her a bit tame but do a Solid axle swap and do 3 inch of body 3 sus so i can cram 35's under the wells and swap out my 87 motor for a Newer motor from a 95 or something, Do the all WD21's have universal Motor mounts? and are the tranny's compatible? BTW.. Do i really have to drop the trannny out to do a Clutch swap or can it slide back? -Scott
  16. haha, I Wish!, I'm just a very ambitious person that works hard to earn money, but now that im working in the Diamond mines in YellowKnife NWT, I have funds. This is going to be a long process i figure, maybe 2 years untill its almost done, as of now its sitting in my wear house.. just sitting. I'm looking at putting up wards of 30,000 into this project , I Figure why buy new when u can build your own for the Same amount or even less!, I have been looking at this build seriously, but I'm stumped , Ive been told to go with a 350, but I think a Turbo'd v6 would push it just as well, but as far as if i should get rid of the IFS for a Solid Axel would be in order, or if i should change the Gear ratio's keeping in mind this will be my Every day driver that could do anything when ever i want it to, maybe 6-8 inches of lift and max 35'' tires. if anyone has input, please, I'm all ears -Scott
  17. Hello, I bought a 87 Pathfinder this summer so i could rebuild it, When i got it in Edmonton AB it had 356,000 km's major rust problems for 1400 buck's, i had to drive it home witch was 3,300 km's away to this place called Inuvik NWT, So i got it here safe and sound put the cheapest mudd tires i could find on it ( Wild Spirit RVT's ) 30x12.5's, and with out thinking about the long term i drove i drove it untill it would drive no more, So now im here with my project ( Exellent ).. I want to compleatly over haul this Pathfinder with a passion, I want to get a beefed up power train ( Turbo Charged ), get a solid axel for the front and so on, also sit it on 35's. other then then the body work witch im going to do customly i need some ideas, well.. good ones, that will not only make this an every day driver but the meanest Pathy in Western Canada. -Scott
