So I decided to try a mechanic right down the road from my office today to change my oil. Heres what they said: The car needs a tune up with plug wires, new drive belts, new radiator hoses with a coolant flush, a motor-vac power fuel claening and the right exhaust manifold is cracked. ESTIMATE FOR REPAIRS IS 1326.36 PLUS TAX. How much of this do YOU think is needed? I've got 88,300 miles, and use Sea Foam in my gas tank every couple months. The plug wires I figure I could easily do myself...

My Kenwood likes to do that, ive noticed that if i try to put another in, it lets the other out.

Why does mine flash that it found the remote, but do nothing when I try to USE the remote later?

I've never mentioned it, but I too am a ricer convert. Now my brother has the ricemobile.. and the other day I had to move the old ricer... MAN it felt weird... first, I felt like I was sitting on the ground, then when I went into the driveway, the front slammed into it, then the bottom hit too when I went higher, and I could barely see anything out of it... and the shifter felt really wierd. My friend with a Jeep Cherokee finally convinced me that I need an SUV, so I started looking at them, and then I saw my beast and knew I had to have it. At this point, I can *never* go back to a normal car.. when I was in one the other day, it felt so weird, weak, close to the ground, and just too different.. I NEED a truck/SUV now.

is it more of a whirrr.... cause when im going like 70 and holding the gas at like a 50mph level, i hear a noise, but i think thats just something like, not catching since im not moving slow enough to need it

Oh, and OR99.5... *somehow* the Land Rover didnt get stuck in any mud or water... but AFTER it went through what I'm shown going through here, we all parked and got out for a few minutes... and somehow when the rest of us all started up again, the LR was completely stuck... it got stuck on dry land, but not in mud... I ended up getting stuck in some sand at the end too, parked in really deep soft sand... but the mud that I was stuck in wasnt that bad, it was thick enough that I could walk right on top of it.

So today I went out into the woods with a Pathy, Frontier, Land Rover Discovery, Ford Ranger, a couple of Jeeps, and some GMC truck or something. The Frontier was insane... not stuck once. I took the Frontier pic, two other people took the pathy pics... but here yas go: The first one is me going through water that had just swallowed that red truck. 2005 Nissan Frontier NISMO goes right in and out without a problem. I get a pull from a Land Rover Discovery. He had just dug some nice ruts and I decided I'd try going right in them too instead of just to the side... bottomed out.. haha.

Just tried that a million times, didnt do anything.

I didnt DRIVE with it full of water, once we pulled it out with an F250 I opened the doors and let everything drain out It was so deep in water I thought it'd never start... it somehow managed to do it.

Mines... shorted out, I got a TON of water under my dash and now that pesky red AIR BAGS light flashes non-stop, my mechanic says the comp is shot.... anyone got any? If so, I;ll buy one (at reasonable price) on the 22nd (just after next time I get paid)... on the topic of this, how hard will it be to replace it?

Just got tires today, god its nice being able to turn on pavement without hearing the tires starting to lose grip. Vengeful, do you have paypal?

So far I know that I need these parts: - Rear wiper switch - Airbag computer - Passenger side parking light - Passenger side headlight - New tires (my existing ones have like 1/16th of an inch of tread left) Start giving prices... haha.

My stereo got stolen, and the guy for whatever reason took the inside of the switch, but left the outside... and I've really missed that switch..
