  1. So do you guys think that the welder that I posted the link for would be good for little projects such as roof baskets and light bars and whatnot?
  2. I know! I was going to ask if anyone had time or wanted to show me a trail or something, but I forgot. I have free hunting and fishing lisences for life in the state of Washington, so I'll be taking advantage of that. I'm sure I'll be down again before winter
  3. I just wanna be able to make a roof rack and or light bar(s)... that kind of stuff... maybe rock sliders if I get good enough. But lots of my friends want stuff but dont have money to buy it.. I figured if I got a welder I could make some of the stuff I want, then make stuff for a couple of my friends for a small fee... I'm not wanting to do any frame welding or suspension work...
  4. Oops... not odometer, trip meter... reset the trip meter... my bad
  5. Start with a full tank, reset the odometer, and drive. Fill up whenever you want and record how many gallons or litres you put in. Divide the distance you traveled by how much gas you put in.
  6. I knew it was too good to be true...
  7. ......MY BAD Haha crap, I fudged up.. I did the calculation like 20 times, because I didn't believe it myself... But I used the wrong number... DAMMIT It was only 20... I forgot something with the odometer.... dannngggg
  8. V, if you're asking if I have an auto, the answer is no. It's a 5speed. I dono how I got such good fuel efficiency, but that's the number. I was shocked too
  9. Nope, it's the 3.0 V6. Keep in mind this was cruising... not driving it hard. It was a constant 75ish...
  10. Okay so I'm looking to buy a welder. I want to make a roof basket and some other things, but I have no experience at all. I have $400 US but don't want to spend it all. http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/pro...D=1159388459311 (Sorry about the long link, I dono how to make it "Click Here") I'm thinking about that one... only $300 canadian... Anyone have a suggestion? Are there any good books out there for beginner welders? Also, would I be able to make a bumper with this welder? What maximum/ideal thickness metal are we talkin about with this welder. Thanks
  11. So, I went from here (Kamloops, BC.. the interior of British Columbia) to Chinook, WA.. about 10 miles north of Astoria OR. Went down there for our annual archery elk hunting trip. No such luck, but I called in a 5x5 bull, had him at 40 yards but couldn't get a shot. Got into a herd of 30+ animals and chased them all day.... Anyway, back on topic... I changed my oil and put in a new air filter the day before I left... I got back a couple days ago... 1120 miles and I got 26mpg!!! I think that's pretty dern good, average speed 75mph. I'm excited I think I can afford a lift and some bigger tires on 'er, with that fuel economy...
  12. The cable is probably caught on something. My friends Ranger seat wouldn't move, we wondered why... further inspection revealed a speaker amp under the passenger seat, which the cable was catching on! Got it unhooked, and got an amp out of the deal. He bought it used, obviously..
  13. I'm leaving Kamloops B.C on the 6th, driving all the way to Chinhook Washington, near the Oregon border, right on the ocean. Archery hunt for elk. Should be interesting, eighteen, first time out of Canada alone (many times with my rents) annnd carrying a bow with some pointy sticks. I wanna go wheelin!
  14. A black PANTHER in a black PATHFINDER! OMG!@!!!
  15. I want to wire my Pathy for a trailer, but the harness that I have is a 4pole one, made by Pit Stop. On the back of the package it says Left turn/ Stop lights Yellow Right turn/ Stop lights Green Tail/ License/ Running Lights Brown Ground White In your post it says the green & yellow wire is the brake light wire the pink & blue wire is the driving lights (ya know..when you have yer headlights on...) the gray & blue wire is the left turn signal I don't know how I'm going to do this.. can I splice the left and right turn signal wires from the harness into the left and right turn signal wires in the Pathy, AND splice them both into the brake light wire? I don't know how I'm going to have both turn signals AND brake lights...
  16. JBL GTO 5.25" Component speakers in the front Alpine Type S 6x9's in custom boxes in the back 600w amp 12" Rockford Punch XLC sub in a sealed box (switched from a massive dual ported one lastnight.. I now have alot of room in the back). To buy and install: CB Power inverter Laptop mount Map lights Cargo storage, horizontal shelf type New head-unit with aux in. New speaker amp, for the JBL's and Alpines. New sub amp Fire extinguisher Mag lights.
  17. It's not acceleration squat, it's like the rear right accelerates 10x more than the left. It feels like someone/something pushes the left rear panel.... Slick, looks like the arrow is pointing to the trailing arms?
  18. Would it also reduce body 'roll' while accelerating for a moment? I should check my sway bars... Is it possible that the bushings could be worn, and cause body roll?
  19. My '90 Pathy starts without needing to engage the clutch...

    Any gamers

AHH YES! Another AC fan. My brother and I played AC for several years, back when I was 12 or so until I was 15. It was hard to play with dial up, connecting at 24.4kbps. The lag monster didn't like us much. Thats great. Not many people played AC. I found out that some girl in my elementary school played it, and her mom. Found out after I had been playing it for several months. That was wierd. I always like talking to people about AC, it's hilarious. Or talking to strangers about things in the game... they must think I'm a drug fiend or something. I love being different :allclean:
  21. reD4Mud Ready for mud... but it's Red-ee-4-mu-d ..... Lame
  22. Dammit govol, you beat me to it... Nice pathy man. Check out www.4x4parts.com (More commonly referred to AC around here).. Lots of aftermarket parts for Nissans. From headers to suspension and body lifts, steering upgrades and more. http://www.4x4parts.com/public_html/shop/i...a8382116aea1ff2 (sorry I don't know how to do the "Click Here" thing with the link in it...) Anyway, enjoy your Pathy man. Oh and, I'm not very good with the Pathy mod stuff yet... I should be using the search tool, but my internet is too slow to read up on stuff. Check it out, there is an even cheaper solution to a suspension lift than that one...
