ok, so i have had the same problem for a while, figured the drain hose was just clogged...so yea i finally decided to fix it, after a 3 hour trip from richmond back home yeilded a soaked passenger carpet/whole area.... went about pulling apart the glovebox, and whatnot, (metal backing plate) and found out just how much water was still in there.....so i started pulling the bottom half off, cuz there has to be a way, but couldnt.... cleaned it out as best as i could, found a bunch of debris in there, leaves and whatnot... so has anyone found a way to get the whole bottom half of the collector tray off??? -sam

ill get um. i didnt even look at it to see if it was broken...it was sitting in my garage for a year.... but im going to the JY to get some parts for my honda, so i can swing by and pick up two of them....i got ya. ill prob have them in the mail by the end of the week... oh and i deleted everything in my inbox, so i do not have your addy anymore...

they arent that gay, its just that they did not seem to fit exactly right. and stuck out kinda far....i was expecting a lower profile guard. no what you sent me woulda looked good in pics... i am just currently modifying them to fit my needs...dont worry im still glad i got some guards... about what you need, what are you talking about? what part of the sunshade did i forget to send??? or i kno that my local JY has 2 95s with sunroofs, so i could stop by there and get whatever u need....

ok see, your maniks are a little different than mine...i will get some pics tonight, but i am planning on beefing up the mount that screws into the plastic on the hatch side, putting thin sheet metal there for a mount. then on the outside, i dont have a little peg, i have a flat (abot an inch by and inch and half....) and im going to get a nice small bolt to bolt through the body, and be able to put a locknut on there, and get to it through the access panel on each side of the truck.... ill get some pics tonight... -sam

Another question is should I be replacing my Shock absorbers in the front? They are new but with the 3inch lift do I need new ones? 1 buy some new ball joints, and if bushings (for some reason) dont come with the UCA, get them.... 2 once you crank your T-bars for the first time, they may sag back to normal ride height, this can be corrected by purchasing aftermarket Tbars....i have sway away, and like them very much... 3 sometimes you can get package deals with all 4 shocks if thats the case, might as well...and if you are looking for this to be solid, why not replace them?? -sam

well, i have a question. if you plan on doing some moderate off roading, i would just like to know why you are not keeping your black panther skids then? ok, the trailmaster SSV's i have only heard good things about, along with the procomp ES300's. (i heard the 9000 were too stiff to worry with) the ranchos i have heard are crap, although some swear by them. pacesetters i have read and heard are very poorly made, and it is worth it to just buy some thorleys, because of the quality. and you can buy new JGC coils from pretty much any car parts store, just make sure you get the right year....they end up being much much cheaper than ones you would buy as lift springs. -sam

yea i would like to see it....but... i am thinking of drilling a hole or two into the little "pad" part, and then putting some sheet metal screws, or just some other finished looking bols there if i figure out i can reach in to the other side to put a locknut or something of that nature on there... and then i am looking at possibly making a sturdier mounting point besides the inside plastic of the light..... we shall see...pics to come when i am done.... -sam [EDIT] oh and a side view of the guard on the truck would be nice...mine seem to go way way out past the light...(well more than i think it would or should....)

yea, i kno they dont actually do much for protection...but....i still like how they look...kind of... i will get pics up tomorrow...it is gettin to dark to to much good... but still...we shall see what i end up doing..i looks like it would do best if it hooked into something behind the actual light, and along with the hatch, but that would mean some fab work....hmmmm....

they are the manik guards....tube style...no they are metal... i wondered about the flat side that hits the body...it looks like the PO of the guards put something on them to either protect the body from scratches, or used the 3M tape...hmm and put the sheet metal screws in the body i presume?? side towards the outside of the taillight?

ok, for those of you out there who have them mounted on their trucks, i wanna see some pics of them on there....i just recieved some in a trade, verified the part number, now i mounted them, and they look extremely gay...and wobbily...not like i have seem some mounted.... just wanna see some pics is all...thanks.... -sam

well it didnt even cross my mind. im glad you stuck with nissan tho, and i can understand now, a bigger family, needs a bigger vehicle, and if wifey says no minivan, well then, u could "settle" on a 4wd vehicle then.....

im glad he still has is WD, from his earlier comment, it sounded like he traded it in.... but i just dont understand the new vehicles that come out now...SUVs, i think not. Lifted VANS.....just pisses me off thats all.

ok, i have adjusted them, umm i have a 3 inch suspension...and currently have everything dissasembled ready for my SAS.... and how can you say it looks like its been slammed???? and personally i dont think a new (nearly) $30,000 vehicle is worth being just a daily driver. a huge ass car that blows in 4wd, strictly on road 4wd, isnt worth it....go buy an older MPV 4wd van. and even if you think my WD isnt a good daily drive, well then i agree with you, gas prices as they are, forced me to buy a honda. and even tho its old, its as nice a ride (inside) as any other vehicle on the road (IMO). i dont care what you say, the new SUVs and many of the trucks today make me wanna stick with early to mid 90s, or even older if i want a worthy trail rig..... -sam

ok....i have wanted a temp sensor for sometime, and was just wondering if you guys thought that this could be done on a wd??? i could take out the two dome lights that are currently where the temps guage, and compass would sit, but i just wanna know what the actual unit looks like...if it would fit in the roof and whatnot.... -sam

this is the exact reason i stay away from the new vehicles that come out these days. currently i drive a 95 Pathy, and just bought a 91 accord for gas mileage. honestly i dont even like the looks of the new pathys, r50s -> newer. i dont even really like the looks of the newer hondas, they are all curvey, and egg shapped..... i just shop around for older vehicles that are reliable, and fairly cheap to maintain. dont worry about buying an X, just shop around for a good ole' WD21.....

to elaborate a little, a Solid Axle Swap replaces the lovely Nissan Independent Front Suspension with a solid front axle. Allowing you to achieve more lift, bigger space for bigger tire clearance, among other worthwile advantages. SASing a vehicle takes a lot of know how, and skill. you need to figure out how much you are gonna wheel your truck to really tell what kinda lift you want.... just my 2 cents... -sam (oh and 4 doors are much much cooler....)
