  6. D30s are a joke. Go D44 front and Ford 9" rear. In the mean time you can upgrade to the L&P centerlink to hold you over until you get your SAS parts collected. As for brakes? I understand that the GM master cylinder is practically a bolt on and greatly improves braking performance. You may also be able to grab a cheap junkyard Nissan axle with stock disc brakes.
  7. Oldie but a goodie. The theft angle would explain a lot of things.
  8. That's precisely what my original idler arm looked like, and no it's not an aftermarket piece. I have since replaced it with the other style one from a junkyard, in order to install an idler arm brace. I carry this one with me as a trail spare now.
  9. Never heard of 'em http://www.nissanpathfinders.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=6308
  10. I never had any issues sleeping in the back of my pathy and I am about 5'11".
  11. 33x12.50R15LT Interco TrXus MTs. Here's the thing, I've seen them in 31" size and they're garbage. Pretty much more like ATs. In 33" size as in here, they're much like a proper MT tire. The gaps between the tread lugs are nice and big, and they clean out very nicely.
  12. Yea... friend ordered a rear bumper took months and months to deliver, while a strong unit, it didn't fit right. Welds looked like they were done by a 5 year old on crack and it had some glaring functionality issues (spare tire location vs. hatch clearance). So basically he had to have a shop do some mods to the unit to work. The other rear bumper that was ordered by a different friend has taken so long to get done that at this point his thinking about cancelling the order and getting something else done. EDIT: anywho here's the rear bumper/tire carrier on an Xterra:
  13. A nicely made bumper with a provision for a winch with an integrated solenoid box would be something that would for sure raise some interest. Let's see what you guys can come up with.
  14. I believe those are 24 or 42 volt instruments. I recall looking around for those, and also the price of a real gyro style pitch/roll meter would make you come crying back to eBay for Terrano one.
  15. No. 2WD gearbox has a driveshaft flange, where as 4WD gearbox has a whole transfer case assembly married to the back end. The driveshaft flange is on the t-case.
  16. Those buy 3 get 1 free deals are pretty cool.
  17. And I just got a message from Japan saying that my Terrano Inclinometer is in. I should get it in a few weeks -bounce- .
  18. I've been banned from SOXC for unknown reasons and even pre-banning i wasn't much of a coffee meet person. I liked wheeling more . But if you can take pics/measurements that would be great for above listed reason.
  19. Hmm.... so you got a mantran then I take it? I wonder if there is somebody with an autotragic that has a header installed that would be willing to measure just how low the bloody thing hangs. I am about to install a set of skidplates so i am worried about the clearance with exhaust.
  20. Is your truck auto or mantran? I have an autotragic transmission in my truck and I am confused as to what the hell to do about header situation. My whole exhaust at this point just ticks at the front and lies on the frame crossmembers and rattles to crap as I am driving.
  21. I really want one as well, but after talking to somebody that has it installed, i don't know anymore. Appearantly it just shakes and oscillates wildly and can't really settle to give you off an accurate reading. I'll still probably get one some day and try it out. If it doesn't work i'll just sell it to some mallcrawler or something. EDIT: actually I have a standing order with one of the dudes in Japan that is looking for one of those for me. He'll send one when he finds a complete one. He had one with buttons missing i told him to look harder.
